HelloRepositoryTest의 오류...

강의 거의 막바지를 달려가고있네요 좋은강의 감사합니다!

 

다른게아니고 HelloRepositoryTest를 돌리는데

@Transactional을 빼먹으셨네요.

이게 있어야 테스트에서 변경되는 DB결과가 롤백되어서 다른 테스트에 영향을 주지 않습니다.

이걸 빼먹으면 아래 테스트에서 들어간 데이터가 findHelloFailed() 테스트를 수행할 때까지 남아있어서 원래 기대했던 초기 데이터 상태에서 Toby를 찾을 수 없다는 테스트가 제대로 동작하지 못하는 것입니다.

저도 같은 오류였는데 감사합니다. 원래는 @HelloBootTest에 있던 Transactional이 없어져서 따로 붙여줘야되는거군요.

에러 메시지를 보면 null이기를 기대했는데 Hello 오브젝트가 돌아왔다는 거네요.

그렇다면 에러는

assertThat(helloRepository.findHello("Toby")).isNull();

여기서 발생한 겁니다.

테스트가 실행될 때 Toby라는 데이터가 이미 DB에 들어있었거나, findHello() 구현이 잘못 되어서 null을 리턴해야 하는데 Hello 오브젝트를 넘기도록 되어있을 겁니다.

관련 코드를 살펴보시고, 그래도 해결이 안 되면 전체 소스 코드를 github으로 공유해주시면 받아서 확인해보겠습니다.
