What was the most impressive thing you learned during the seminar?

  • I was impressed by your explanation that you should look at the entry rate before looking at the funnel conversion rate, such as home entry and nudge entry. While planning a new feature, it made me reflect on my own assumption that "Once I create the feature, someone will find it and use it."

  • If you don't have teeth, analyze them with your gums. 😊😊 Could there be a better metaphor? It's a perfect fit. Since you can't start a business with everything in place, I think it's important to find ways to achieve your goals using the tools and methods available to you now, and then get to work.

  • It was really fun and helpful to hear examples of how other companies (even Alamy!) are conducting data analysis in practice, along with the concerns they faced at the time.

  • Before improving funnel conversion rates, it's crucial to review entry rates first! In practice, we often request that new feature launches increase entry rates with top banners (home entry) and push notifications. We've often received questions about whether this effort is pointless, as it will be visible to users who aren't interested in the feature. While this won't be a universal solution, I've gained insight into how to best approach this process by communicating the importance of the feature to the product team (PO, development, design) and persuading them to support the initiative.


  • I remember the step-by-step process of developing and testing hypotheses. Internally, there was some discussion about trying out various things because the service was urgent, but I was struck by the idea that by developing hypotheses and testing them, even if the service didn't work out, we would learn lessons.


  • I had absolutely no knowledge of data analysis, but as a new PM, I felt the need for it, so I started taking the course! It was very motivating to learn about the importance of data, case by case.

  • I liked that Seunghwan's practical examples weren't just a collection of various practical experiences, but also clearly showed the service's goals and the business objectives to achieve them.

        I had a vague idea that funnel analysis would only produce figures like this and that, but through this seminar, I was able to think and ponder with a broader perspective! I think it would be good for anyone interested in funnels to definitely take a look.
