Speak Brand Marketer
I'm in charge of brand marketing at Speak, an AI English speaking app. I'm dedicated to building Speak's fans by crafting and communicating the brand's story.
Difficult-to-track activities like outdoor advertising are difficult for startups to tackle. The most challenging aspect is internal persuasion. With limited budgets, everything must be cost-effective, but the uncertainty surrounding the results makes internal persuasion a challenge. Speak, a startup that successfully completed large-scale brand campaigns, discusses "How to Persuade with Data Without Data."

I found the process of measuring "outdoor advertising awareness," which seems difficult to measure with data, fascinating. Along with the Fermi estimation, I enjoyed getting a glimpse into how the Speak team thinks about and measures advertising effectiveness.
I liked how the speaker shared his own personal experiences in a detailed and easy-to-understand way!
I was able to learn from the lecturer's story of how he struggled with insufficient data while carrying out the project, and how he actually struggled and achieved business impact. I was able to relate to the story.
I was impressed by the importance of remembering how to approximate cost/benefit estimates when data is unavailable, and keeping records to reference later.
What impressed me most was the advice to not give up because there is no data, but to continue persuading others through the miraculous calculation method of Fermi estimation!
I was impressed by how data can be used to have a logical conversation.
I've realized once again that prior to implementing any marketing action, it's crucial to select key metrics to measure its effectiveness. I thought I already knew this, but I've been approaching it from the perspective of how to evaluate the activity after implementation.
I thought that if we steadily accumulate small data not only in marketing but also in various other areas, approach strategies, reach results, and even consider future supplementary plans, we could quickly see the desired results.
The best part was hearing in detail about Speak's marketing strategy development process and the results achieved through trial and error. The lecture highlighted the speaker's dedication and attitude toward creating a better culture through precedent. :)
I think this will be very helpful for my work. Thank you so much for preparing this lecture!
I'm so glad you had a wonderful weeknight. Thank you for always sharing quality content 🙂
I'm a designer who doesn't even know the first thing about data. Not just in marketing, but in all areas, I've started thinking about how to operate based on data, and how to create evidence and persuade others with my results. I think I'll be visiting often, as I feel I need to study more in the future. Thank you!
This was my first time attending, and it was fantastic. As a marketer, it answered many of my questions. I definitely want to attend the next seminar.
The seminar materials were detailed, and I enjoyed learning practical, expert knowledge related to data analysis from the perspective of current practitioners.
This was my first seminar, and I feel like the information I learned there has broadened my horizons considerably :)
Thank you for consistently holding seminars.
I came across Datarian through an Instagram ad on the day before the event, and it turned out that everyone I knew was already following the channel :) I was so happy to be able to attend a meaningful webinar at a great price. Thank you!
Thank you for opening up such a helpful lecture. It was very helpful. :)
This was my first time listening to it, and it was a useful experience. I'll listen again if there's a topic that interests me!
