😭 6 absolute rules for resumes that pass?!

My name is Jaeseong Park . I started out as a developer without a major, worked as a CTO at several companies, and am currently working as an educator.

For about two years, I have been consistently editing and providing feedback on resumes through 1:1 consulting. By editing and providing feedback on the resumes of hundreds of job seekers, I have helped many of my students pass the exam. When I looked at the resumes of the students I have helped pass the exam, I was surprised to find that there were six common characteristics, as if they had made a promise .

'Theory of the answer, the paradox of the more the better, the curse of abstract words, the theory of the squid game, the theory of the mafia game, the 30-second rule'

All the resumes that passed the interview were well-kept in keeping with these 6 principles. If you know and apply these 6 principles, your document screening pass rate will increase significantly, and you will be able to judge for yourself what parts of your resume are wrong and what you need to improve. You will also be able to know what the interviewer is thinking when he or she looks at the resume, and which resumes he or she passes and which resumes he or she rejects.

Many job seekers fail the document screening process, and if you look at the reasons for failing, it's simply because they don't know how to do it. Resume/portfolio is definitely not a field of talent. It's just a difference of knowing and not knowing.

Even learning how to ride a bicycle may seem difficult at first, but if you learn it just once, you will never forget it, right? The same goes for resumes and portfolios. If you learn it just once, you will never have to suffer with resumes or portfolios.

I hope this lecture can be a guide for those who are unsure about how to create a resume or portfolio. See you in the lecture.

Four points I paid attention to while creating the lecture

We analyzed resumes that actually passed and extracted 6 common characteristics that anyone can apply. We organized the lecture so that you can write a resume that will pass on your own using these 6 principles.

I will tell you what the interviewer thinks when evaluating a resume. By learning the interviewer’s perspective, you will be able to decide for yourself how to write a good resume .

We provide a resume template with a structure that interviewers like , so that you can write your resume right after listening to the lecture. Use this resume template to quickly complete your resume.

We'll walk you through the process of giving feedback on 7 real resume samples . It's designed to help you learn what interviewers think when they look at resumes, which resumes they reject, and which resumes catch their eye.

👍 People like this will like it!

Note

While watching this lecture and writing your resume, you may come across some points that you feel lost in, and there may be moments when you don't understand what I've told you. And you may feel anxious about whether you can write it this way.

I was like that when I was a job seeker. I had so many worries about whether it was right to write like this or whether the interviewer would dislike it. I know how anxious you are, so please use the Inflearn Q&A board or 1:1 chat room to ask questions whenever you feel like that.

Due to time constraints, I won't be able to look at your entire resume, but I will do my best to think through and answer any questions or concerns you may have while writing your resume!

🚨 Be sure to check who is teaching you!

If you meet the wrong doctor, you may die at that moment because you cannot cure your illness. However, death ends with the pain of that moment. However, if you meet the wrong teacher and receive the wrong education, you will suffer throughout your life.

Due to the wrong education, you may end up going to a company you don't want to work for, receive a lower salary than you expected, and live a life of suffering because of it. Not only that, but because of the wrong education, your children will also inherit the wrong education.

I think that education can really change a person's life in a positive way, but on the other hand, it can also completely destroy a person's life. I think that's why education is such a heavy responsibility.

Therefore, please check who the person teaching you is, what kind of person they are, and what path they have taken, and then make a careful decision.

👋 Hello!
Now I introduce myself ( ⸝⸝•ᴗ•⸝⸝ )੭⁾⁾

hello!

I started studying development as a non-major . I have already been a developer for 6 years! Recently, I have been working as a developer while serving as CTO at two companies . Whenever I have free time, I have been giving coding lectures, consulting on company development, and giving lectures.

The number of students I have taught so far has already exceeded 2,500 (as of May 2024) ! I feel this every time I teach many students, but I cannot forget the sense of pride I feel in education, so I plan to continue to teach at Inflearn.
(* Among the students, there are those who passed the Kakao Pay, Yanolja, and Baedal Minjok (Woowa Brothers) exams)

Just as I have received a lot of help when I was going through hard times, I wanted to become someone who could help many other people. And I felt most proud and happy when the value I created through development had a positive impact on others.

For these reasons , I hope that by sharing what I have worked hard to obtain, I can help those people live a slightly better life.

thank you!
