😭 6 Absolute Rules of Resumes That Get You Hired?!

I'm Park Jaesung, who started development as a non-major and worked as CTO at various companies, and am currently active as an educator.

For about 2 years, I consistently provided 1:1 consulting to review and give feedback on resumes. Through reviewing and providing feedback on hundreds of job seekers' resumes, I helped many students get hired. When I laid out all the resumes of the students I've helped get hired so far, surprisingly, as if they had made a promise, there were 6 common characteristics.

'The Theory of Predetermined Answers, The Paradox of More is Better, The Curse of Abstract Words, Squid Game Theory, Mafia Game Theory, The 30-Second Rule'

All the resumes that passed followed these 6 principles well. If you just know and apply these 6 principles, your document screening pass rate will dramatically increase, and you'll be able to judge for yourself what parts of your resume are wrong and where you need to make improvements. You'll also understand what interviewers are thinking when they review resumes, which resumes they pass and which ones they reject.

Many job seekers get rejected during the document screening stage, and when you look at the reasons for rejection, it's simply because they don't know the method. Resumes/portfolios are absolutely not a matter of talent. It's just a difference between knowing and not knowing.

Learning to ride a bicycle also feels difficult at first, but once you learn it just once, you never forget it, right? Resumes and portfolios are exactly the same. Once you learn it properly just once, you won't suffer from resumes or portfolios anymore.

I hope this course can serve as a guide for those who are struggling with how to create resumes or portfolios. I'll see you in the course.

✨ 4 Points I Focused on While Creating the Course

I analyzed actual successful resumes and extracted 6 common characteristics that anyone can apply. Through these 6 principles, I structured the course so that you can also write a resume that will get you hired.

I'll tell you what mindset interviewers have when evaluating resumes. By learning the interviewer's perspective, you'll be able to judge for yourself how to write a resume that becomes a good resume.

As soon as you finish listening to the lectures, you can write your resume right away. We provide resume templates with structures that interviewers love. Use these resume templates to quickly complete your resume.

The process of providing feedback on 7 actual resume samples is shown. It's structured so you can learn what interviewers think when looking at resumes, which resumes they reject, and which resumes catch their attention.

👍 Great for these types of people!

Those who are overwhelmed about how to write a resume

Those who want to increase their document screening pass rate

Those who want to know the common traits of successful resumes

🙊 What happens after you finish listening to this entire lecture?

You'll learn which resumes interviewers pass and which ones they reject. Furthermore, you'll realize how to write resumes and portfolios to get accepted.

Reference Notes

After watching this lecture and working on your resume, you might find yourself stuck at various points, or there might be moments when the content I've shared doesn't quite make sense to you. And you might also feel anxious about whether you're writing it correctly.

I was the same way when I was job hunting. I had countless worries about whether I was writing things correctly, whether writing like this would make the interviewer dislike me. I understand that anxious feeling well, so whenever you feel that way, please use the Inflearn Q&A board or 1:1 chat room to ask questions.

Due to time constraints, I won't be able to review your entire resume, but I'll do my best to think through and answer any questions or concerns you have while writing your resume!

🚨 Make sure to check what kind of person is providing the education!

If you meet the wrong doctor, you might face death because your illness can't be cured at that moment. But death ends with the pain of that moment. However, if you meet the wrong teacher and receive poor education, you will suffer throughout your entire life.

Due to poor education, you may end up at an unwanted company, receive a smaller salary than expected, and suffer for the rest of your life as a result. Not only that, but the poor education you received can be passed down to your children as well.

Education can truly change a person's life in a positive way, but on the other hand, it can also completely ruin a person's life. That's why I believe education carries such heavy responsibility.

Therefore, please check who is providing the education, what kind of person they are, and what path they have walked, and make a careful judgment.

👋 Hello!
I'm finally introducing myself now ( ⸝⸝•ᴗ•⸝⸝ )੭⁾⁾

Hello!

I started studying development as someone from a non-technical background. Before I knew it, I've already become a 6-year veteran developer! Recently, I've been working as a developer while serving as CTO at two companies. Whenever I have spare time, I've been doing coding lectures, company development consulting, and giving talks.

The number of students I've taught has now exceeded 24,000 (as of July 2025)! Every time I teach various students, I always feel the same way - I can't forget the sense of pride in education, so I plan to continue providing education consistently on Inflearn.
(* Among students, successful candidates for Kakao Pay, Yanolja, and Woowa Brothers have been produced)

Just as I received a lot of help during difficult and challenging times, I wanted to become someone who could help many other people as well. And I felt most proud and happy when the value I created through development had a positive impact on others.

For these reasons, I hope that by giving and sharing what I have worked hard to achieve, those people can live a slightly better life.

Thank you!

I learned about viewing applicants from the perspective of an interviewer. I also think these are great tips that can be applied not only to resumes and portfolios, but also to daily life! 1. Specific instructions -> Can be immediately applied to your resume 2. Easy explanations through analogies -> Goes beyond just remembering; it's imprinted in your mind

Specific feedback on Seung-hwan's lecture is helpful to me too! Actually, it's good to look at a resume from the interviewer's perspective to accurately grasp the intention and key points :) I believe you'll finish your resume well based on what you've learned. Fighting! 👍👍

I'm a student who recently chose to study backend development. Although I made the choice, I felt lost without a sense of direction, and the idea of creating a portfolio seemed vague. However, after taking this lecture, I feel like I have a clearer perspective. Thank you.

jack0506, I see you've recently started backend development! It must feel unfamiliar and difficult since it's all new, but I'm relieved to see you're already getting the hang of it by watching the lectures ☺️ If you keep putting in the effort, you'll gradually start to see things more clearly~! 👍

The combination of theory and concrete examples makes it easy to understand and apply. However, it's a shame there aren't any examples of front-end resumes.

You worked hard to complete the entire course, Namsoo! If possible, I'll try to add a front-end resume to the next course update :D I hope you apply the theories I explained well and get good results in the job market 😊😊
