💬 Frequently Asked Questions

Q. I'm not a designer, but a planner or PM. Can you help me?

Of course! Ultimately, it's all about demonstrating your problem-solving skills, so it'll be very helpful. Also, someone who successfully transitioned from a product designer to a service planner after taking my course has done so, so please consider this when deciding to take the course!

Q. I'd like to see a portfolio of successful applicants to large corporations. Can I see it in class?

Unfortunately, I only have experience with agencies and startups, so while I can provide some information on preparing for employment at large corporations, please understand that this is not a portfolio of successful applicants to large corporations.

Q. If I purchase a course through Roadmap, can I receive the benefits of individual courses?

Yes, of course! You can naturally receive the benefits of each course, and since the student community is integrated into one, you can enjoy even more benefits.

This lecture helped me resolve the discomfort I felt from countless document rejections. Thanks to the lecture, I found out why I failed every time I applied… I will also practice writing essays covered in the lecture! I will choose 4 things that I particularly liked. 1) I liked that it taught me how to organize a portfolio according to my employment strategy. It didn’t just teach me how to organize a portfolio, but also taught me in detail how to find my strengths and how to search for companies, so I was able to think about my employment direction and strategy. It also provided tips on how to prepare for resumes and interviews, so I was less burdened by having to buy other lectures. 2) It was easy to understand because it showed me examples of actual portfolios from current employees. This was the best part. Sharing actual cases from current employees greatly resolved the part where I was worried about how far I should go. I was also able to figure out what I lacked by comparing it to my portfolio. 3) There are assignments and guides for each session, so I can complete my portfolio while following the progress. In fact, it was difficult to start creating a portfolio because of the visual burden, but this is context -> The explanation is divided into small steps, from the skeleton -> wireframe -> details, so I was able to complete it quickly just by following along. It took me more than 2 months to make, but now I've completed the wireframe in just one week. This is really embarrassing..ㅎㅎ 4) I can ask questions in the Discord community, so the disadvantage of one-way lectures has disappeared. I watched about 2 portfolio lectures on other lecture sites, but I didn't get answers when I asked questions. As a job seeker, I get impatient when the answer time is long, but I feel very secure because I can ask questions in the Discord community at any time. And it seems to be helpful for designer community, so I think it's beneficial in many ways ㅎㅎ Actually, portfolio lectures are so expensive these days, so it's a big burden for job seekers, but I feel like I hit the jackpot by purchasing a good lecture full of know-how and cases from practitioners at a low price. I'll pick out the good points from the lecture and succeed in getting a job quickly..! If you're a troublemaker like me, solve it with this lecture. It'll make my mind clear. ㅎㅎ

Huong Bingsu, I'm so happy that it was helpful! I'm so touched that you left a review like this,,🥹 In fact, all the parts you pointed out were things I thought about while getting a job and changing jobs, so I'm so touched that you recognized them. I'm especially happy that you succeeded in working on your portfolio in just one week, which took a month! I really tried to put my brain into the lecture so that you could work on your portfolio efficiently, so I'm glad that it was helpful🥰 In the future, through bonus lectures, I will solve common difficulties that people have after taking the course, so please keep looking forward to it and work hard until you finish it✨ We often meet in our Discord community room. Happy New Year🧧🐲

I am currently preparing for employment and was worried because the rejection rate for document screening was high. Then, I took the course upon the recommendation of an acquaintance! At first, I worried a lot about whether or not to take the course. I already made a portfolio, so I wondered if it would be right to take the portfolio course? Should I study other subjects? I was worried, but the time I spent worrying was wasted, and it was so helpful!! Through ‘Correcting Misconceptions About Portfolios’, I was able to realize what I was missing and what mistakes I made when creating my portfolio. I like that I can learn employment strategies, how to systematically manage projects, and how to create a portfolio. ㅎㅎ In addition to creating a portfolio, you also shared great tips and experiences, so I think it will be helpful in the process of building a career after employment. I will actively utilize the template you shared to refine my portfolio and get a job!! Thank you for creating a great course. ㅎㅎ

No, who is that acquaintance.... Please tell him that I love him....🫶 I'm sure you've had a lot of concerns about time and money while preparing for employment, but thank you for trusting me and buying from me. I really don't know what to do with myself when you say that the time you spent worrying was a waste..!! Please contact me later when you get a job! I support Jinyoung's career☺️💙💙

This is a portfolio lecture that feels like saying to a friend who was diligently taking notes, "I'll get it to you right away~" It's a bit more detailed than the existing portfolio lectures. It's so detailed that it feels like you're watching Kiki's personal portfolio update process in real time, so you can gain a lot of insight. You learn methods that you've never thought of. It's a lecture that thinks about the students (users) who are watching, not a one-sided lecture, so it seems to be more touching. I'm grateful to Kiki for being able to get quality information at a lower price than templates or lectures sold on other sites. I recommend it to those who are struggling with portfolio preparation or can't figure out where to go.

Alin, I was really impressed as soon as I saw the first line.. I was surprised that you expressed my lecture better than I did...!!! I also have been disappointed after purchasing templates or other service portfolio lectures, so I tried to break down my knowledge into small pieces, and I am glad that you felt that way. I am so grateful that you trusted and paid for my first lecture, and I will definitely cheer for Alin to go to the company you want through this lecture.✨

I highly recommend this to those who are new to portfolio creation or new to portfolio creation for job changes! 1) How to create a portfolio: It systematically explains the entire portfolio creation process, and I plan to apply this part when I continue to organize my portfolio in the future. In addition, it was very helpful because it specifically explains the creation method while showing Kiki's actual portfolio cases, and I was able to apply it in real life. 2) Job mindset: It was refreshing to see that it not only provided portfolio creation, but also realistic job-seeking advice, and it was great. The higher the goal, the better, but it was also helpful because it provided specific job-seeking methods related to the current frozen job market. 3) Finding career strengths: It suggested ways to manage my career well in the future, and it was very helpful because I got a sense of direction for the company I will be applying for in the future! Beyond simply creating a portfolio, I had time to re-position myself, so I was able to make specific plans for my future career. I was able to get a lot of related tips on various aspects, such as creating a portfolio, finding career strengths, and mindset. And I think it's a big merit that there is a separate community for students and Kiki! And sometimes Kiki's honest comments in the middle of the lecture are a point of laughter.ㅎㅎ Thank you so much, Kiki, for creating such a great lecture, and I hope all the job seekers/job changers who are watching this lecture will successfully get a job!!!

Thank you, Eundo, for writing a detailed course review😆 Actually, when I was planning the course in the beginning, I was not sure if the contents of lectures 2 & 3 that you mentioned would be helpful to the students, so I really worried a lot about whether or not to include them. I think portfolio skills are a higher priority for you, but I thought it would be too much additional information, so I included them with the belief that they would be more important than portfolios. I'm so happy that I was able to be a good compass for Eundo's career! And.. I'm glad that you enjoyed my honest comments ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ If we meet in 1:1 coaching later, please share which parts you found interesting! I'll always support Eundo's career!!! Fighting🔥

Wow.. This is my first time taking a lecture like this ㅜㅜ I always bought portfolio examples and was always worried and at a loss about how to use them as reference to create my own portfolio… But I think this was the biggest help in understanding and creating what I need to do first to create a portfolio, and how to organize and structure my previously disorganized portfolio!! And actually, the best part of the lecture was that Kiki showed me actual portfolios that I passed and explained everything from A to Z in detail.. (To the point where I wondered if this was even possible!!) Kiki explained everything in detail and specifically… Thank you so much ㅜㅜ!!!!

Hello, Bomi! When I was preparing for a job change in the past, I used to buy templates every time, but when I actually wanted to use them in my work, I had no idea where to start. Since I know this well, I made the lecture by dividing the steps as closely as possible so that you can create your own portfolio as much as possible. I am so touched that you understand this part. 🥹 I hope that through my portfolio, Bomi can create a portfolio that makes good use of her strengths!!! I am the one who is grateful for leaving a review🫶
