This is an online lecture I took because when I started working, I knew absolutely nothing about infrastructure, and my company told me to study it. 3 reasons why I highly recommend it First: In Section 1, it teaches you the process of creating an instance, all the way to deleting it. And when I thought I'd have to review and listen to the lecture again to move on to Section 2, it said that Section 2 would review how to create an instance again, and I thought, "Wow..! They truly understand beginners' minds." Second: The Q&A is really fast and they don't give vague answers. This seems like a really big advantage ㅇㅇ. When you take online lectures, errors pop up and you encounter things you don't know, but they always answer within a day. ㄹㅇgoat Third: The lecture notes are well-organized -> This is my personal opinion

Although I am a 3rd-year developer who majored in Computer Science, I felt that I need to keep learning and acquiring knowledge related to work through high-quality education. I started listening to Jaesung-nim's lecture on Inflearn for the first time, and it seems he explains really good content in an easy-to-understand way. I felt that instead of just delivering knowledge, he hopes students properly learn and acquire it so they can use it well in practice. I will study hard using the Pareto principle and the study method through recording/note-taking, which you mentioned in the lecture OT. Thank you for creating a good lecture!

It was great to build up my lacking knowledge of AWS. In particular, the easy-to-understand explanations for beginners and the concise summary of key points in Notion were very helpful in understanding. If you are worried about which AWS lecture to take because there are so many AWS lectures on the market, I think it would be good to start with this lecture. I've taken lectures from many instructors, but this instructor is really good at teaching!

  • Deploying a backend API server using EC2

  • Domain connection using Route53

  • Applying HTTPS using ELB

  • Database connection using RDS

  • File and image upload using S3

  • Web page deployment using S3 and CloudFront

Ugh, I can't do this anymore!

I'm Jaeseong Park, a former CTO at several companies who started as a non-major and is now working as an educator. I also had a time when I first studied AWS after deciding to become a developer as a non-major.

The first feeling I had when studying AWS was 'helplessness.'

Because even when I looked at the official documentation, it was so difficult to read. People who are good at development say that the official documentation is enough, but no matter how much I looked at it, I couldn't understand it. I just couldn't make sense of what it was saying.

And the terminology used in AWS was so unfamiliar. Seeing terms I had never heard before in my life, like 'Region, Security Group, VPC, EBS, Provisioning,' made me feel intimidated from the start.

Since I also went through a time when I faced these difficulties, I felt that I should create a lecture that explains things simply enough for even non-majors to fully understand.

✨ 4 Key Points I Focused on While Creating the Lecture

I believed that it should be easy to follow and understand for someone studying AWS for the first time. That's why I made an effort to explain difficult terms and principles in a way that even non-majors can easily understand.

I believed that if you cannot apply what you've learned in practice even after finishing the course, then it is a flawed course. I tried to structure it as a practical course that can be applied immediately to real-world tasks, rather than an academic approach of studying theory in depth.

I have experienced more than 50 projects so far. I have put together only the AWS services that I essentially and frequently set up every time. In short, I curated the curriculum by selecting only the AWS services frequently used in the field.

While knowing how to use specific AWS services is important, the ability to understand the overall big picture is also crucial. That is why I have included explanations of the architecture regarding how to configure the infrastructure.

👍 This course is perfect for people like this!

Those who have had
difficulty learning AWS
by watching YouTube or reading blogs

Those who are from a non-major background and are
slow to understand difficult
concepts and terminology

Those who have completed their project
but don't know
how to deploy it

🙊 What will you achieve after completing this course?

You will be able to deploy web pages or backend servers using AWS. You will be able to deploy using methods actually used in the industry, rather than just for learning purposes.

From the '[Learning Tip] First Word Rule' lesson

Notes

If you already know basic Linux commands and Git (+Github) and have experience in backend API server development, you will find it much easier to follow the course. However, even if you are unfamiliar with the above, there will be no major issues in acquiring AWS knowledge! If you encounter any parts you don't understand while learning, please use the Q&A board to ask questions immediately! 😊

🚨 Be sure to check who the educator is!

If you meet the wrong doctor, you may face death because your illness cannot be cured at that moment. However, death ends with the pain of that instant. But if you meet the wrong teacher and receive a poor education, you will suffer throughout your entire life.

Due to poor education, you may end up at a company you don't want, receive a lower salary than expected, and suffer for the rest of your life as a result. Not only that, but the poor education you received can even be passed down to your children.

I believe that education can truly change a person's life for the better, but on the other hand, it can also completely ruin a person's life. That is why I believe education carries such a heavy responsibility.

Therefore, please check who the educator is, what kind of person they are, and what path they have taken, and make a careful judgment.

👋 Hello!
I'm finally introducing myself ( ⸝⸝•ᴗ•⸝⸝ )੭⁾⁾

Hello!

I started studying development as a non-major. Somehow, I've already become a developer in my 6th year! Recently, I served as CTO at two companies while working as a developer. Whenever I had spare time, I've been doing coding lectures, corporate development consulting, and speaking engagements.. Bất cứ khi nào có thời gian rảnh, tôi đều thực hiện các bài giảng về lập trình, tư vấn phát triển cho công ty và diễn thuyết.

The number of students I have taught has already exceeded 24,000 (as of July '25)! As I feel every time I teach my many students, I can never forget the sense of fulfillment that comes from education, so I plan to continue providing training here on Inflearn.
(* Produced successful candidates for Kakao Pay, Yanolja, and Woowa Brothers among students)

Just as I received a lot of help when I was going through difficult and challenging times, I wanted to become someone who could also help many others. I felt the most proud and happy when the value I created through development had a positive impact on other people.

For these reasons, I hope that by giving and sharing what I have worked hard to achieve, those people will be able to live a slightly better life.

Thank you!

🏆 Testimonials

Byungwook Park (Software Engineer at Woowa Brothers)

I believe it is not an easy task for someone just entering the field of development to study AWS. This course is meticulously designed with a focus on hands-on practice so that beginners can easily follow along. Therefore, it is a course where those who have a vague fear of learning AWS can build their infrastructure knowledge without feeling overwhelmed. I am confident that by gaining the experience of building infrastructure yourself based on the knowledge learned in this course, you will become a developer who has grown to the next level.

Juhee Hyun (Software Engineer at Kakao Pay)

This course empathizes with the difficulties faced when studying AWS for the first time and focuses on resolving them. Based on easy-to-understand explanations and real-world experience, it helps you immediately apply essential AWS services. Furthermore, it includes lectures not only on individual AWS services but also on overall architecture, helping you understand the big picture. I recommend this to beginners starting to learn AWS or those who are confused about deployment.

Jinseong Hwang (Software Engineer at Kurly)

When I first used AWS, I sometimes got charged without realizing it, but this course has several safeguards in place. You can follow the hands-on exercises while making the most of the Free Tier, and it teaches you how to clean up resources at the end of every topic. I believe this will be a great help in developing the habit of preventing unnecessary charges.

This course is perfect for AWS beginners. You can systematically master the cloud technologies most commonly used in the industry. Furthermore, thanks to extensive teaching experience, difficult technologies are explained in a way that even beginners can easily understand. If you are not yet familiar with cloud technology, I strongly recommend taking this course.

I have used AWS before, but rather than knowing it properly, I used it only when I needed it urgently, and I felt like these things were being organized while listening to the lecture. I think this lecture can be a good roadmap for beginners who are just starting out with AWS. Thank you for providing a great lecture!

I was looking for a lecture to study AWS for the first time and I happened to find this lecture. The part about the study method was very helpful, and it was very good that there were supplementary lectures after the theory and practice. Also, it emphasized that you should not just listen to the lecture and finish, but that you should be able to make something on your own, so I am trying without giving up! I hope you will give many other lectures in the future!!

Hello, Instructor Park Jae-seong~ First of all, thank you for giving an easy-to-understand lecture. As a supplementary lecture or follow-up lecture, please make a practical lecture that organically connects the practical exercises of each subtopic to each other so that it feels like working on one large project. I would also like to request lectures on ECS and EKS.

AWS was hard to try out because I was worried about spending money when I was doing it alone, but since you explained it well so that I could do it with the free tier, I was able to follow along with peace of mind! The explanations are easy to understand and I'm having fun listening to it! The lectures aren't long, but they cover everything I wanted to do, so they're really informative! Now I think I'll be able to deploy my own projects!!! And I really like that there's a one-on-one open chat room. You reply quickly, so I use it whenever I have questions!! Thank you~ If you film a sequel or CI/CD next time, I'll come listen right away~!

It introduces all the AWS knowledge necessary for light project deployment such as toy project, capstone, and side project. I studied AWS in the wild, and I always used it with more fear because I didn't know it properly, but I think I was able to fill in the usage and concepts more thoroughly with this lecture. There is no difficulty from the content to the explanation and practice method, so I think it will be a great help especially for beginners. Thank you for the great lecture.
