Are you new to coding?
Start with HTML, the foundation of web development! 🏃
Recently, web pages have been evolving to be more glamorous, smooth, and fast. However, both glamour and dynamism are merely auxiliary tools designed to deliver the content of a web page easily and make it more memorable. For these auxiliary tools to be effective, it is more important than anything else that HTML properly fulfills its original role.
There are only three languages that make up a website. Not that many, right? 😊 Strictly speaking, there are only three languages understood by web browsers like Chrome, Safari, and Firefox that display web pages. Among them, HTML is by far the most important core language. Languages you may have heard of frequently, such as CSS, JAVASCRIPT, and React, all serve to complement the language written in HTML. If the HTML is written incorrectly, the web page will be like putting the cart before the horse. In this lecture, our goal is to accurately write the content you want to convey using HTML tags.
A web page is strictly a document. A document must have a clear message and purpose, and be structured to achieve that intended goal. Learn how to write in a way that remains faithful to the inherent functions of the HTML language!

Those who have no coding experience but
want to get started with web development
Web designers preparing to
change careers to web developers
Backend developers who want to complement their frontend skills
Whether it's front-end or back-end, web programming languages must start with HTML. If you learn higher-level languages without a solid foundation, it's easy to end up like a house built on sand. Even if you approach this field with the mindset of just taking a light look, you can acquire the skills without much difficulty.
I recommend learning HTML first, followed by CSS and JavaScript. After that, upgrade your JavaScript skills with a framework like React to become a web publisher. Finally, you can challenge yourself with backend development by learning languages such as PHP, Python, or Java.
You will learn the basic tags necessary for web page content, ranging from HTML document types to headings, lists, images, and tables.
Based on what you learned in Section 1, we will create an HTML structure by referring to a design, just like in a real-world project. We will identify the necessary elements for coding from the design, prepare the images, and then write the HTML according to the content.
If you have mastered the basics of HTML through this course, go ahead and conquer CSS as well!
