The Quality of the Report, Part Two
[Logic Development] for Writing Perfect Documents 😀

From writing documents (plans, proposals, reports (hereinafter referred to as reports) to reporting
The process consists of four major steps.

  • First, accurately understand the work instructions of the work supervisor (superior).

  • Second, organize the instructed content in a logical manner (development, data collection, etc.)

  • Third, express your thoughts in slides according to each logical structure (table of contents, etc.).

  • Finally, you will do a work report (or presentation) based on what you have worked on.

In other words, if there is a problem in any of the above four processes, your report will often become a 'crippled report' . In other words, you will write a report with low work productivity. So, I have compiled the above content and created a lecture called 'The Quality of Reports'.

  • PART 1. Understanding the Work

  • PART 2. Logic structure (content development)

  • PART 3. EXPRESSION OF THOUGHTS

  • PART 4. The art of reporting

💡 This lecture is the second story of the report quality, 'PART 2 'Development of logic' .

Learn about these things

Characteristics of a document

The logical development method varies depending on the characteristics of each document (plan, proposal, report). Therefore, select documents with high usage frequency and learn about the development of information and table of contents structure that are suitable for the document.

Techniques for Idea Generation

A good report should not only logically develop information, but also be solid and rich in its content. To do this, you will learn not only the principles of logical development of information, but also the techniques of generating ideas and ways to utilize them.

Efficient Data Collection Methods

In order to support the claims in the report, clear data is needed. There are three main types of data, and the research method varies depending on each tendency. In this lecture, you will learn about the types of data and how to collect them.

Implementing Pagination with Logical Progression

After learning the logical development process, you can proceed with the basic task of pagination, which is the report's basic task. Pagination is the task of configuring the document's table of contents and setting what content and data to include on the detailed pages that match the table of contents.

Frequently Asked Questions

💡 Frequently Asked Questions

  1. I am a beginner at writing documents (plans, proposals, reports, etc.). Can I still take the course?

    • Yes, it is possible. Rather, it is good for those who are beginners in report writing or want to learn properly. Since report writing is a process of writing a document, it requires functional understanding when writing. And it is organized systematically so that such content can be easily understood.

  2. Does it also include how to write documents?

    • No. This course teaches you how to develop the logic of a report before writing the document. In addition, you learn background knowledge to solidify the content of the report. Therefore, you will only learn the process before writing the document, not how to write the actual document.

  3. Are you having difficulty with the lecture content in other parts of the lecture?

    • It is not difficult at all. The length of the video is also short, about 5 to 10 minutes. In other words, it is composed so that you can listen to it comfortably. Also, the slide content is written in as much detail as possible, so that even in an environment where you cannot hear the audio, you can understand it sufficiently by looking at the slide content.

  4. Additionally, do I need to include other parts of the report?

    • It is not necessarily so. You can choose the areas that you feel are lacking in the four parts of the report. However, since those who have difficulty with the report tend to have structural difficulties in multiple areas rather than just one area, we recommend taking the course in at least two areas.
