The Dignity of Reports, Part One
[Understanding the Task] for Proper Document Writing😀

The process from document preparation to reporting largely consists of four stages.

  • First, accurately understand the work instructions given by the person assigning the task (the supervisor), and

  • Second, organize the instructed content according to a logical flow (development, data collection, etc.), and

  • Third, express your thoughts on slides according to each logical structure (table of contents, etc.).

  • Finally, you proceed with the business report (or presentation) based on the work you have completed.

In other words, if a problem arises in any of these four processes, your report will become a "rejected report." That is, you will end up writing a report with low work productivity. Therefore, I have synthesized the above content to create a lecture called "The Dignity of a Report."

  • PART 1. Understanding Work (Proactive Understanding of Work Instructions)

  • PART 2. Logical Structure

  • PART 3. Expression of Thoughts

  • PART 4. Reporting Techniques

💡 And this main lecture is the first story of The Dignity of Reports, 'PART 1: Understanding Work'.

Frequently Asked Questions

💡 Frequently Asked Questions

  1. I am a beginner at writing documents (planning papers, proposals, reports, etc.). Can I still take the course?

    • Of course. It is possible. In fact, it is even better for those who are beginners at writing reports or those who want to learn properly. Since report writing is a process of creating a single document, a functional understanding is required during the writing process. We have structured the content systematically so that you can easily understand these details.

  2. Does it also include how to write documents?

    • No, it is not. This course is a process of learning how to accurately understand and confirm work instructions according to the type, tendency, and characteristics of the superior who gives you instructions before writing a report. Therefore, for report writing, we recommend taking courses on logic construction or expressing thoughts.

  3. Is the content of the other parts of this lecture difficult?

    • It is not difficult at all. The videos are kept short, around 5 to 10 minutes long, to maintain a quick pace. In other words, they are designed to be easy to watch. Additionally, the slide content is written in as much detail as possible so that even in environments where you cannot listen to the audio, you can fully understand the material just by looking at the slides.

  4. Additionally, do I need to take the other parts of "The Dignity of Reports"?

    • Not necessarily. You can selectively take any of the four parts of "The Dignity of Reports" based on the areas where you feel you need improvement. However, since those who struggle with reporting often face structural difficulties across multiple areas rather than just one, we recommend taking at least two or more parts.
