This is exactly the course I was looking for🫶 When I only watched tutorials, I was frustrated because I didn't know what features would come later or what principles they were built on, but you explained each feature in detail, so even though it still takes a lot of time and I'm lacking, I was able to follow along while understanding the features and principles

The lectures are so kind and detailed that I'm listening with so much gratitude. What I love about this course is that you explain and show the same shapes using multiple methods, which makes it easier to understand and more enjoyable. Plus, it's clear that you've put a lot of thought into how to make the modeling look more detailed, which I really appreciated!

The shortcut keys I used frequently became well-memorized. Starting with Blender without knowing anything and finishing the donut shop by following the course, I feel proud! At first, I had a lot of fear and wondered if I could do it or if I would actually memorize things, but the advice the teacher gave from time to time was all helpful. Thank you.
Principles and functions you need to know in Object Mode and Edit Mode
Frequently used modifiers and how to use them
Control menus and how to use them
How to utilize Camera, Light, Eevee Render, and Color Management
Only when your fundamentals are solid will you have the power to solve problems on your own when you encounter them.
This is the final result you will learn to create!
This is a course where you will learn the essential basic functions for modeling and ultimately create a donut shop.
I will teach you about common mistakes and how to develop the ability to think through modeling methods on your own.
Modeling a donut shop, we won't just stop at following along;
I've included insights on why we make it this way and what the better approach is.
This course is for those who already have some understanding of Blender concepts but
encounter new problems while studying.
I've prepared this so you can follow along using the latest version of Blender (4.3)!

Friendly Blender helps you build a solid foundation based on reasons and principles and gain the power to think for yourself. If you don't know the principles, you won't know why something went wrong or where to make corrections when modeling fails. Also, when you want to create your own work, you'll feel lost on how to start. You must develop the ability to think for yourself about which method to use for creation. I will help you truly enjoy Blender. Let's study Blender together!
Those who want to clarify concepts
Those who want to learn modeling step-by-step
Those who enjoy learning by doing while creating examples
Those who want to quickly get a taste of everything up to physics and animation
Standard (Concept-oriented): Friendly 0 - Friendly 1 - Friendly 2 - Friendly 3 (Friendly 2, which is practice-oriented, can be skipped)
Efficiency (Maximum features): Friendly 0 - Friendly 1 - Joyful House - Friendly 3

Q. Why should you learn Blender?
Blender is a program equipped with a truly wide variety of features, and it's free! It's great to try out when you're wondering if you'll be good at 3D. It's also good for learning as a hobby, and I recommend it to those who want to create their own animations or videos.
If you are learning for employment, it might be better to learn programs that are widely used in that specific field. It is true that Blender is currently relatively less famous in Korea and is not frequently used by companies. This is perhaps natural since there are programs already in use. However, companies using Blender are gradually emerging, and it is already widely used abroad. The proportion of Blender users in Korea will surely increase in the future!
Q. Can non-majors take this course?
Yes, it is possible even if you did not major in video or design. The most difficult parts of drawing three-dimensional pictures are perspective and shadows. In Blender, if you place an object close to or far from the camera, perspective is created naturally, and if you add light, shadows are generated automatically, so you can create beautiful results even if you aren't good at drawing.
Of course, while there are some exceptions like Sculpting or Texture Painting, the modeling and rendering taught in this video are at a basic level, so anyone can do it as long as they have the will to follow along and create!
Q. What materials are required to take this course?
Computer
Desktop computers are recommended. Please check the link below for detailed recommended specifications. Laptops are possible, but rendering work in 3D requires high graphics card performance, and since Blender uses the numpad (the number pad to the right of the arrow keys) frequently, it may be inconvenient.
Check computer specifications for Blender
Mouse
A mouse with a wheel is required.
Keyboard
A keyboard with a numpad is recommended.
(Optional) Tablet PC or Dual Monitor
Due to the nature of learning videos with many features, you will often need to pause and follow along, so having a tablet PC or a dual monitor is useful for watching the video while you work.
Q. What should I do if I get stuck?
If you get stuck in the middle, it becomes difficult to move on to the next step. Since I understand that frustrating feeling all too well, my door is always open for questions. For inquiries regarding Inflearn service operations, please use the 1:1 inquiry feature.
Who is this course right for?
Those who feel they are lacking in the basics of Blender
Someone who is frustrated because they don't know why they're making mistakes while following along with a video.
People who do fine when following along but struggle when trying to create what they want.

I really enjoyed the basic lectures. Thank you. By any chance, have you been using AI recently? It would be wonderful if you could create a Level 4 course on how to increase modeling efficiency in Blender using AI, such as utilizing MCP. Of course, since a solid foundation is essential, I will make sure to complete all the remaining Level 2 and 3 lectures!
Thank you for enjoying Level 1 as well. It really seems like you're studying hard! Haha. I am considering an AI course, but from my perspective, I haven't found satisfactory quality yet, and I feel the modeling results are too random. Also, token consumption is quite high during production, so I think there would be a significant burden for students using AI during the course. Since these factors make it a bit lacking to cover in a lecture, I'm putting it on hold for now. I'll study more to create a great course in the future. Thank you for sharing your opinion! Good luck with the rest of the lectures! :)
