Wow.. I wish you could make this video into a company UX research guide. It's so great that you neatly organize the concepts that were scattered in my head, and it's also great that you introduce soft skills that are suitable for situations that I actually experienced during the course!! Especially when doing interviews, there are many awkward situations and frustrating situations such as whether you really listened to the answers, so I think I can become more proficient if I actually use the interview skills you introduced. Since it's a material that is condensed with practical experience, I think it'll be a material that I can often open and refer to in my actual work, not just something I'll learn by looking at it once. Thank you for making such a great lecture..!!

I am impressed by Jayoung's experience-based explanations! It's not only for the purpose of user testing, but also because I learned everyday tips such as how to lead a conversation more comfortably with the other person, and how to open up. It was fun. I think it would be helpful if you also taught us the mindset and key elements that are good to have at each stage, as well as quantitative criteria. It's good content for not only designers but also other departments, so I want to recommend it to company members~

As a developer preparing to start a business, I was at a loss as to how to verify user hypotheses, but after listening to the lecture, I got a sense of where and how to start. I especially felt the instructor's experience in the IDI part, so I learned a lot.

Designers and PMs who run UT
If you're feeling intimidated when you start UT, you're still unsure of which UT to pursue. Build your foundation step by step!
Entrepreneurs looking for PMF
Interviewing potential customers is a great way to uncover problems. Learning how to conduct customer interviews will take you one step closer to validating your hypothesis.
UX Researchers Who Need Practical Tips
If you've recently transitioned to UXR or are tired of learning theory and lack practical tips, this course will quickly provide you with essential practical tips!

Meeting customers in person is the best way to develop your UX planning skills.
There's a wealth of information on introductory interview methods. Rather than focusing on theoretical methods, I've compiled a list of my own experiences and insights, focusing solely on the core principles of UX research.

Tips for practical use, not theoretical methodology!
Applying UX research theory directly to real-world projects can be overwhelming. So, I've prepared tips that you can use right away.

Includes vivid, real-life interview examples
I've included examples from interviews I've personally conducted. I guarantee this lecture will be even more engaging.
Will addressing the one-star terrorism of the App Store and Play Store boost NPS? The answer is no. Let's examine why and how to address it.

While the way you conduct the interview itself is important, the difference between a good interview and a bad one lies in your attitude. I'll teach you the soft interview skills that will help you extract insight.

Usability testing isn't a one-time process. It's crucial to gather more information from usability testing and incorporate it into the next iteration. Let's explore real-world examples, from UT to implementation.

We've added a bonus session covering customer satisfaction metrics like NPS, CES, and CSAT. You'll learn how to consistently and quantitatively measure customer satisfaction.

As an early member of Banksalad, I built a 0-to-1 service that started with zero users and grew into a beloved one . There was a time when no one used Banksalad. I remember sighing at the numbers, wondering why customers weren't using our product. Then, determined to get to know our customers, I started blindly meeting users. After meeting 10, 100, and 1,000 people, I finally began to see what they wanted and the core customer value we could provide. By conducting numerous customer interviews, I learned what makes a good interview.
Once I became accustomed to meeting customers, I realized there was no better way to test hypotheses. Later, while working on new business and services in other teams, I experienced the power of customer research firsthand. I'll share all the know-how I've discovered through this process here.

When I first started doing customer research, there were no good case studies on what kind of insights to extract from interviews or what questions would elicit good answers. Delving into theories, I found that the only methods available were either too large for large organizations or too time-consuming. I personally sought out methods that could be applied immediately in practice and implemented them, testing their effectiveness.
As a result, I've developed my own customer research methods . Now, depending on my goals, I conduct interviews, UTs, and benchmark research.
The methods introduced in this lecture aren't authoritative, established methods, but rather methods I've found to apply. After listening to my research approach and grasping the concepts, I hope you'll find your own unique research method that suits your style!
Q. I've never done UT before. Can I take it?
Don't worry! This course will first teach you the purpose and process of UT, then provide you with valuable tips for creating a successful UT curriculum. Even if you've never done it before, you can easily get a feel for how UT works and what questions to ask through examples.
Q. Our team doesn't have a UX research organization. Can we still conduct UT?
Not every team has a UX research organization in place. But every team needs to meet customers. There are ways to conduct effective customer research even without a UX research organization. I'll show you how to do it realistically.
Q. Will this be helpful even if I'm not a product designer?
He said the course is suitable for anyone, even those who aren't product designers, and for anyone in any product-making role. Because it focuses on directly connecting with customers who use our products, I recommend it to anyone working in IT companies to create digital products.
Since it is a lecture with no deadline, you can listen to it one by one whenever you need.
All lecture materials PDFs are shared in their original form.
If you attend the lecture, you will receive an interview and a UT Notion template.

I have worked as a product designer and PM at Banksalad, NEWNEEK, and MyRealTrip. In particular, I led the process of finding PMF at Banksalad, where I met countless users, and through my experience launching NEWNEEK's first app and starting my own business, I experienced firsthand the power of connecting with customers.
"A startup never goes bankrupt by trying too hard to satisfy its users" is the mindset I bring to product design.

I have never thought deeply about research, but thanks to the explanation based on Jayoung’s experience, I think I have a solid understanding of research. Also, the soft skills required for research are not limited to research, but can be used in various fields. I would like to recommend this lecture to other professions, not just designers!!
