This lecture felt like a real reality check. ㅠ I’m already in my 5th year as a developer, and I took this course because I felt anxious and unsure if I’d be competitive enough when switching jobs. It’s painful to realize that I’ve been complacent at my company and stopped growing for the past five years. I was already very interested in solo development, and this was a huge help. Thank you!

It was so great to be able to confirm insights about AI that aligned with what I had been thinking.

As a developer with experience in the gaming industry, this has become a major catalyst for reflecting on my current complacent state. To ride this massive wave rather than being swept away by it, I need to grow stronger little by little each day with a long-term perspective... Thank you for sharing these insights. I'm also looking forward to the 2026 curriculum.

    Companies hire to make money!

Let's think about it from the perspective of running a company.

How should I determine my appropriate salary?
What mindset should I have when changing jobs or retiring?

  3. A Series of Bad News: What Are the Main Reasons Why Getting a Job Is So Difficult Right Now?
What on earth has been happening all this time...
Why has the gaming industry declined so rapidly since the COVID era?

  4. The God of Destruction Called AI: What predictions can be made about the future that will change due to AI?

AI will disruptively take away human jobs.
Let's think about what will change sequentially.

  5. Survival Strategy: What should we do to make a living in the future? What will be the fate of game developers?
How will the game development process change?
What should game developers do and prepare for?

  6. New Opportunities: Let's think about the opportunities that always accompany the AI era
There were major changes during the smartphone era as well
and unicorns like Kakao were born.
Let's think about what will change in the AI era.

  7. Mindset: Job hunting is tough, but mental management to never lose your initial passion
The present may be difficult, but AI is the beginning of another opportunity.

Introduction

I started game development out of pure curiosity to study hacking...
and as time passed, I have somehow become a 10th-year game developer.
"When will I ever finish making a game at this rate?"
Starting from basic grammar that makes you sigh,
to gradually building my own game world.
And the sense of pride when seeing many players connect to that world.
The more I study, the more I cannot escape the charm of MMORPGs.
I hope you can feel the same inspiration that I felt.

Although it's a short 2-hour lecture, I think for some people it might have poor cost-effectiveness, while for others it could be a lecture worth its weight in gold.
