Dear Inflearn students, I’m sure you have many concerns about coding, but you likely have many concerns about marriage and childbirth as well, right? You might want to get married and have children, but the responsibility feels heavy, and you may worry about losing your current freedom. I used to be someone who was against marriage. I praised a life of freedom, but at my wife's persuasion, I chose to get married, thinking, "I'll give it a shot." At first, I regretted it because it felt like marriage was taking away my freedom, but strangely, once I let everything go and dedicated myself to my family, I became free. And I began to see the advantages that I couldn't see before due to my prejudices. This course "explains" what marriage and childbirth are to those who are hesitating. I also shared thoughts on realistic concerns, such as what kind of person you should marry and whether money is absolutely necessary for marriage. Because I was once against marriage, I was able to organize these thoughts better from both perspectives. There will likely be stories here that you won't easily hear anywhere else. In the face of the most important life decisions—marriage and childbirth—this course will be a truly worthwhile investment.

A true lecture of this era
You will learn about the overall pros and cons of marriage and parenting, especially the advantages that have been hidden behind misconceptions.
We help you establish a philosophy for meeting the right marriage partner for you.
I give you courage.
"Can I really live with one person forever after getting married?"
"Won't my life disappear if I have a child?"
"Isn't there anyone who can systematically teach me about marriage and childbirth?"
Do you want to get married or have children, but find yourself hesitating?
It feels like I might lose my freedom,
Are you also afraid that something bad might happen because of your own shortcomings?
On the other hand, do you feel lost because there is no one to give you the full picture of the pros and cons of married life?
"Should I get married or not?"
"When and with whom should I do it?"
"Do I really have to have a child?"
These are the concerns I had before getting married.
Then, the "marriage mentors" around me would give me their answers.
"Don't get married if you can help it. If you must, do it as late as possible."
"Marriage is nothing special; you just do it when you're old enough with whoever you're dating at the time."
"Have children as late as possible."
"Raising a child is really tough, but there is still a sense of happiness in it."
Whenever I heard these stories, instead of things becoming clearer in my mind, I only grew more afraid of marriage and parenting.
Gradually, my mind became set on not getting married, and from a certain point on, I took pride in being a "bihon" (voluntarily single) person.
Then, I ended up getting married due to my wife's strong persuasion.
To be honest, at first, I even felt regret, thinking I had lost my freedom.
But at some point, after dedicating myself to my family and taking off my rose-colored glasses,
I began to see the colorful aspects of marriage and parenting that I had been missing.
That's why I created this lecture for those who have the same concerns as I did!
"I'm not the only one with these concerns"
These are the first reactions from those who took the course.
From persuading marriage and wedding preparations to the birth of the first and second child -
Because it contains vivid, detailed stories of the experiences the current generation is going through, you will be able to indirectly experience marriage and parenting at a rapid pace.
Furthermore, this lecture does not simply contain cliché success stories or only things that are pleasant to hear.
It captures, with the utmost honesty, the process of how a person who identified as "single by choice" and never wanted to give up their freedom began to waver and change.
"This was the most persuasive video on the topics of marriage and childbirth I have ever seen in my life."
I majored in computer science and learned development, and I have been working in research and PM roles for 10 years.
As such, I am accustomed to explaining things clearly from an engineering perspective.
This lecture provides a persuasive explanation by visualizing the advantages of marriage, the principles of what kind of person to marry, and realistic questions.
It might be difficult to fully understand all the content just by watching the lecture, right?
I have also prepared a book so that you can chew it thoroughly and digest it easily.
If you sign up for the course, you will also receive an e-book worth 15,000 KRW! (140 pages long)
What's more, this isn't just a dry Word document.
Full color, it is beautifully designed, so it will make you feel good.
An instructor whose ideology has been completely converted
A former non-marriage advocate, I am now a father of two children who is parenting without a moment's rest. (I really have no break). In my neighborhood, I am known as the "somewhat clumsy but fun-loving dad who plays with his kids."
During my school years, I was once so immersed in my studies that I organized those principles and published books titled <the right way to study> and <study empathy>. Because the process of building a family has given me realizations as deep as those from my studies, I created this lecture to share them.</study></the>
I graduated from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Seoul National University and earned a Master's degree in Cognitive Engineering from KAIST. I have worked in government-funded research institutes and the startup industry for over 10 years. Currently, I have developed an interest in psychedelic drugs for treating depression and am pursuing a PhD in the Department of Psychology at the University of Exeter in the UK.
