As soon as it was released, I swept it all in one night and it was a complete success. The title is about employment-related topics, but in fact, if you are a programmer, it is a kind of "Effective Programmer" lecture that you should keep by your side. It is an important lecture that allows me to check my path rather than spending time learning a single technical book.

I don't really leave reviews, but I guess I was impressed. I wanted to try this field, but I was overwhelmed by self-study. I thought I was having a drink with someone who is in the field, so I listened to the lecture, but isn't the price of alcohol too cheap?

A lecture that I would strongly recommend to students preparing to become game programmers. As a non-major, I studied at a national (national period/strategic industry job training) support academy from January to July 2015, so I know better than anyone the sorrow of having to grow and survive in the industry without basic skills. The dangers of getting a job as a new employee at a startup were also well mentioned in the lecture. After all, the company does not guarantee anything to the worker. Even if you join the company and work for a long time, your skills will not improve. Overtime work should be prohibited, and one-sided sacrifices should be avoided. As the instructor said, it is best to set a long-term goal, devote yourself to that goal, and treat getting a job as a means of survival. Not all programmers are the same.

Game Programmer Job Strategies A to Z!
We will be your guide for job seekers.

Game programmer
I want to, but...

I don't know what to study
I'm just solving algorithm problems .

If you want to get a job at a gaming company
Do I really have to go to a gaming academy ?

There's so much to prepare
Where and how much time should I invest?

I'm a middle school student now,
I'm really worried about whether I should go to college .

employment at a gaming company,
Can you do it by yourself?

The era of game programmer starting salary of 60 million won!
How cool would it be if the games I love became my profession rather than my hobby?
But the road to employment is still long and arduous,
I just feel at a loss as to where to start studying.

I was lost in the flow of time and was just solving algorithmic problems.
In a corner of my heart, I feel a faint sense of anxiety about whether this is really the right path.
I posted a question on Naver Knowledge iN because I wanted to grab onto even a shred of hope.
Only childish school advertisements greet me,
There is no one who can truly show you the way.

If you go to the programmer community, you'll only see people fighting over who they are.
I'm just confused as to which side to believe.
Today too, my life is shrouded in fog.

Introduction

I started game development purely out of curiosity to study hacking...
but as time passed, I somehow became a game developer in my 10th year.
"When will I ever be able to make a game at this rate?"
Starting from basic grammar that makes you sigh,
to gradually building my own game world.
And the sense of pride when seeing many players connect to that world.
The more I study, the more I can't escape the charm of MMORPGs.
I hope you can feel the same inspiration that I felt.

The sense of pride when seeing a large number of players. The more I study it, the more I find myself unable to escape the charm of MMORPGs. I hope you can feel the same inspiration that I felt.

I'm no different from a non-major who just gets by and goes with the flow, just taking credit for grades. I feel like my vision, which had been clouded by the pressure of the mountain of studying I have to do for game development, has cleared up. I had forgotten that it was something I wanted to do, not something I had to do.

I prepared for the interview/written test with the contents of my own game programmer major basic book that I organized at the end of last year and the beginning of last year while preparing for a job as a game programmer in earnest, and Mr. Rookiss's lecture was really helpful. It's been a few months since I sent a thank you email to Mr. Rookiss after getting a job... Time... I bought Mr. Rookiss's lecture every time he came out, and I tried to study little by little since the end of last year, but due to personal reasons... I made a plan to broaden my overall spectrum as a game developer by listening to the lectures I had collected since the beginning of this year. I had consulted with him via e-mail when I was a job seeker, and all of that content is included in the "Game Programmer Job Strategy Guide." This one lecture covers the overall process of the game industry and how to prepare for it. I think the most important thing for job seekers is 'selection and focus'. I think that 'direction' is very important in preparing by devoting more time to a certain part and immersing yourself in it. I think this lecture is a great guide for those who want to enter the field as a new game programmer. If there are any shortcomings that I cannot change at the moment, I can devise a strategy to appeal to the interviewers by polishing other parts. It's up to me. As Mr. Rookiss said, I will fight from today to become a developer who consistently develops himself, not just getting a job.!!!
