With three designers
We did it together 😁

Seo Ja-young

I'm very interested in entrepreneurship, so I worked as a CDO at Banksalad in its early days, growing the company from zero to 300,000. I've also worked at Newnic and My Real Trip.

Kiki (Kim An-jeong)

I am a designer with 6 years of experience.
I worked as a designer at Class 101, and through five recommended resignations, I learned how to grow on my own.

Kang Young-hwa

I am a designer with 12 years of experience.
After working as a designer at Toss for four years, I quit and transitioned into entrepreneurship.

Regarding 'growth'
I told you various stories 🙂

Mr. Jayoung shared some great tips titled 'How to do OOO better' .
Please tell us how to make your team work better and give us communication tips.

Kiki told her story under the title, A Designer’s Growth Record.”
Tell me about an easy way to record and the benefits of recording.

The movie tells four stories of burnout under the title, 'Burnout Stories' .
I share what I learned from burnout, which everyone experiences when pursuing self-development.

Feedback 💫

I was feeling very unmotivated at work and looking for a way out. Your honest sharing of your experiences with burnout and self-growth, including how to document your progress, was incredibly inspiring. It also resonated with me, realizing I wasn't alone in my struggles .

Of course, I want to be a designer who excels at design. But I also want to be a "healthy" designer who is "confident in my path." I think a designer who grows healthily has many issues and situations that go beyond "being good at their job" or "being a good designer." It doesn't have to be grandiose. I hope there will be more opportunities to share these real-life stories and experiences of struggling with "growth." I really enjoyed this session. Thank you!

Sharing all my recent concerns with you all felt like a weight had lifted off my shoulders. They offered solutions and suggestions for addressing concerns about my career, my direction within the company, and my personal growth. They also gave me a lot to think about on my own. The three-person session was incredibly helpful.

I really enjoyed the time we spent talking about marriage, childcare, and career concerns at the end. Since my friends weren't yet considering marriage, I didn't have a place to share these concerns, and I often struggled alone. It was wonderful to hear about other people's similar struggles and the decisions they'd made. In Korean society, we often focus too much on things like "big companies," "stable jobs," and "companies everyone knows." So, as I build my career, I find myself wanting to work at such companies more and more. However, if I want to spend quality time with my family, I'll have less time for self-development and more time dedicated to my work. So, I think working at a lesser-known, smaller company would be a good option, as long as I can find satisfying work and a happy life. But my mind is constantly wavering, and it's really hard to give up on things that seem promising.

Thanks to the warm hearts of Se-bun who continues to share these experiences, I am receiving a lot of comfort today as well 😊😊

There aren't many opportunities to share concerns about mindset, and even when they are discussed, they often end up being vague. It was great to learn in detail how the three of you overcame these issues, almost like a self-prescription.

I had a really hard time preparing for employment. Even though I was working hard, it was hard to find a direction, and I had a lot of concerns about my career. I was spending my day feeling a little empty, without anything in hand, when I happened to see news about the sessions of Yeonghwa, Kiki, and Jayoung on Instagram. I immediately thought, 'This is exactly the session I need!' As a designer who thinks about my future and growth, I thought I absolutely had to attend this session. I especially loved being able to hear stories of growth and advice from my seniors. This kind of opportunity is really rare. The results were better than I expected! It was a really great time. Jayoung's session gave me practical solutions and specific tips. She clearly organized her direction, and also taught me question examples and idea generation methods for problem solving. In particular, the solutions and tips that I could apply to my actual work were super helpful. Kiki's session was also really good. I was surprised and so grateful that she talked about her career history more honestly and openly than I thought. I could relate to her and it was comforting because I saw similarities with her before I changed jobs. I was able to learn about records, reflections, and the process of self-objectification, and although I sympathized with many of the words, there were many parts that I failed to practice properly, so I reflected a lot. Also, Kiki’s positive and cheerful attitude was very impressive, and it was nice to be able to listen to the session with pleasure. Lastly, in Yeonghwa’s session, I was comforted by sharing my burnout experience. As I listened closely to the story of the difficulties she had experienced, similar experiences that I had experienced came to mind, and I had a time of empathy. I was touched by the way she comforted me in detail by showing me specific emotional lines for each time period. I was really touched by the words about using tools that fit me. I thought that the introduction of tools that helped me overcome burnout would be of great help to me. I was really grateful for sharing my personal stories and encouraging me in such an honest and sincere way. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Yeonghwa, Kiki, and Jayoung for spending such precious time with me. All three of you gave me great inspiration and courage. I will take the lessons of this session to heart and actively reflect them in my career planning. Thank you so much for your warm-hearted comfort and encouragement!

Bae, thank you so much for leaving a review! I thought I was just sharing my experiences, but I'm surprised that you thought I was honest and candid, and I'm glad that you found comfort in it. ㅎㅎ Recently, my heart aches when I hear stories of juniors who can't get a job despite having a solid portfolio.. I'm really careful about what I say and I don't want to say it, but it hasn't always been easy for me either. It's always been difficult, but I've always taken steps forward and aimed little by little. Based on our experiences, we'll cheer you on from afar so that you can overcome difficult times and go a little further! Get plenty of rest on today's holiday! And don't just study!!!
