How Designers Grow Without a Shooter

As someone who works as the only product designer at a startup, there were a lot of things I could relate to. It was great that you pointed out and explained things I was curious about while working. This lecture is very helpful for junior product designers in their 1st to 3rd year!

I just happened to see this lecture while I was working as a new designer at a startup, and it was so informative and helpful :) In particular, it was full of useful examples, detailed explanations, and methods that were helpful to new and junior designers, so I was able to learn only useful tips in a short period of time! I was also able to receive book recommendations and templates through Notion, so I think it will be good to refer to in the futureㅎㅎ

If a junior designer from a startup listens to it, it seems like a lecture that will help them understand the industry and work environment well. I have a mid-level or higher career, but this is my first time working at a startup. However, the problems I overcame while going through the startup world that I challenged without knowing anything are completely reflected in the lecture. It was a lecture full of great tips, including a work environment where you have to do multiple things at the same time and methods for setting priorities. However, while listening to the lecture, there were cases where I heard the words or sentences that were explained repeatedly 2-3 times! I think it would be good if you paid more attention when editing these parts.

This is a helpful lecture for juniors working at startups without a shooter. It was a lecture that gave me navigation on how to move forward. I was able to gain a lot in a short 1-hour period. It was worth the tuition! I highly recommend it to juniors who were lost like me :D

I am a solo designer who has been working as a UXUI designer for a year and a half without a supervisor after changing careers. While I was anxious about my career and had a low understanding of the job, I listened to Dolmeng's lecture and my anxiety was greatly reduced. At the end of the lecture, Dolmeng said, "It doesn't matter where you worked, what matters is what you solved." I felt like a lighthouse. Thank you!

As mentioned in the introduction and the first part of the lecture, this lecture focuses on and explains experiences in startups. - What role should designers play depending on the startup environment? - How to work well in that environment? - How to grow on your own in an environment without a mentor? I liked that it mainly explained action items that can be realistically tried, and among them, it seems that you can apply and try out useful templates in the field by sharing them in Notion. I recommend this to those who are wondering if working in a startup is right for them, those who want to know more about the designer work environment in a startup, and those who are curious about the work culture in other startups because they do not have many team members.
