I enjoyed the lecture very much. It was a lecture that allowed me to clearly understand break-even point analysis, which I had only heard about in words. Especially with the Excel materials you provided, I think we can easily conduct break-even point analysis for our company as well. It's so great that you're providing the Excel materials. After all, what remains are the materials. Thank you.

We provide a Break-Even Point (BEP) analysis lecture and an Excel template.

This Excel template is structured as follows.

※ Composition of Break-Even Point Analysis

- Reorganizing the income statement into fixed and variable costs

- Calculation of contribution margin (ratio) by subtracting only variable costs from sales revenue

- Profit simulation based on changes in sales volume

- Identify the sales volume required to reach the break-even point

- Identify the sales volume required to achieve target profit

※ This material is recommended for the following people.

- Those who are currently experiencing a loss and are curious about the sales volume needed to reach the break-even point

- Those who are currently making a profit but are curious about the sales volume required to reach their target profit

- Those who want to maximize profits but don't know how to approach it

- Those who are preparing to start a business and want to establish a systematic business plan

Based on the company's income statement (or monthly expenses/cost items and revenue), we categorize costs into fixed and variable expenses to derive a formula that predicts profit based on revenue. Through this formula, you can determine the sales volume required to reach the break-even point and identify how much revenue is needed to achieve your target profit.

It is not a difficult task. Even small businesses and self-employed individuals, such as restaurant owners, can take a step toward visible management simply by establishing this formula. You can only make decisions when things are visible.

This is a great course where you can learn break-even point analysis, which I only knew in theory, using actual Excel data. It was my first time learning how to analyze break-even points using financial statements, and it's an excellent course that serves as a guide for people who find management accounting practice overwhelming!
