I finished listening to Series 1 and am studying Series 2. The best part is that you explain every little detail so I can grasp the concepts accurately, which is really great. If you look at the class materials, there are diagrams that show you the concepts, which are really helpful for understanding the concepts. I think this will be a really good lecture for those who want to study on their own. I can feel that you put a lot of effort into making this lecture, so I feel like I can't give it 5 stars, so I'm leaving a sincere review :) Can you make a probability and statistics course with the same quality in the future? I hope the integral series comes out soon..! Please do it. I'll definitely listen to it!

For engineering students, it's absolutely essential and the best for both organizing and studying. I also want to take graduate-level lectures.

What you will gain after the course

  • Higher order differentiation

  • Taylor expansion of multivariable functions

  • Finding the maximum and minimum values of a multivariable function

  • Optimization theory

  • Understanding arc length

  • Understanding Curvature

  • Understanding divergence

  • Understanding vector fields

Introduction to the 'Vector Calculus' series

Vector calculus is essential knowledge required in countless fields such as physics, engineering, AI, deep learning, computer graphics, and economics. However , the content is so vast that it is difficult to study alone. That is why I created this series to properly teach you only the essential content.

If you slowly conquer them one by one in the series, you too will be able to conquer vector calculus.
Vector calculus, which used to be boring and difficult, becomes easy with this course! 👊

The series is structured like this.

Series 1 - Fundamentals of Differentiation

  • Chapter 1 The Geometry of Euclidean Space
  • Chapter 2 Differentiation

Series 2 - Advanced Differentiation Current Course

  • Chapter 3 Higher-Order Derivatives; Maxima and Minima
  • Chapter 4 Vector-Valued Functions

Series 3 - Fundamentals of Integration

  • Chapter 5 Double and Triple Integrals
  • Chapter 6 The Change of Variables Formula

Series 4 - Integral Advanced

  • Chapter 7 Integral Over Paths and Surfaces
  • Chapter 8 The Integral Theorems of Vector Analysis

Vector Calculus Series 2: Foundations of Optimization Theory and Vector Functions

In Series 2, you will learn the theory of maximum/minimum of multivariable functions and the general theory of vector functions, building on the contents of Series 1.

  • You will learn the general theory of vector functions, which is necessary for learning the beautiful(!) theories that you will learn later in the integral series. You will also become familiar with the mathematical symbols used in numerous formulas in physics and engineering.

Let's take a look at some of the things you might be curious about in the course. 🙋‍♂️

Q. Is prior knowledge required?
A. You should take my first lecture, <Vector Calculus Series 1>, and you should know most of the contents of Calculus 1. However, as you progress through the course, I will briefly review the necessary contents of Calculus 1, so you don't have to worry too much.

Q. Aren’t the lectures difficult?
A. The reason why Calculus 2, a subject learned in college, is difficult is simply because it is difficult to cover all the content in one semester. Since students have to study a lot on their own in a limited amount of time, it is bound to feel difficult. In this course, we will explain the parts that may seem difficult in as much detail as possible. I think those who have understood Calculus 1 and this lecture series 1 will be able to learn it without much problem.

Please note before taking the class!

  • 😲 It took me at least 30 hours of effort to complete each course. I hate doing things half-heartedly.
  • 😪 If you feel like the lecture is being spoken slowly, I recommend watching it at 1.25~1.5x speed.
  • 🙋‍♂️ Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions or suggestions for improvement.
  • 😫 We do not accept questions about personal homework, exam questions, genealogy, etc. outside of the course content.

Thank you so much for your valuable review!!ㅎㅎ I will continue to make helpful lectures in the future. Oh, I have roughly compared the textbooks since I received several requests for the exact same thing via email. First, I will finish the vector calculus series and think about what lectures to make.. I will also make the integral series as soon as possible. Thank you again!! Have a nice day!ㅎㅎ

I enjoyed it a lot. After taking several math courses, I could tell that this course was definitely made with a lot of care. In particular, Units 3.3 and 3.4 were directly related to me, and I was able to review the basic content of those sections.
