I finished listening to Series 1 and am studying Series 2. The best part is that you explain every little detail so I can grasp the concepts accurately, which is really great. If you look at the class materials, there are diagrams that show you the concepts, which are really helpful for understanding the concepts. I think this will be a really good lecture for those who want to study on their own. I can feel that you put a lot of effort into making this lecture, so I feel like I can't give it 5 stars, so I'm leaving a sincere review :) Can you make a probability and statistics course with the same quality in the future? I hope the integral series comes out soon..! Please do it. I'll definitely listen to it!

For engineering students, it's absolutely essential and the best for both organizing and studying. I also want to take graduate-level lectures.

What you will gain after the course

  • Higher-order derivatives

  • Taylor expansion of multivariable functions

  • Finding the maximum and minimum values of multivariable functions

  • Optimization Theory

  • Understanding arc length

  • Understanding Curvature

  • Understanding divergence

  • Understanding Vector Fields

Introduction to the 'Vector Calculus' Series

Vector calculus is essential knowledge required in countless fields, including physics, engineering, AI, deep learning, computer graphics, and economics. However, the content is so vast that it is difficult to study alone. That's why I created this series to select and properly teach only the most necessary information.

If you conquer each series slowly one by one, you too will be able to master vector calculus.
Vector calculus, which used to feel boring and difficult, becomes easy through this course! 👊

The series is structured as follows.

Series 1 - Basics of Differentiation

  • Chapter 1 The Geometry of Euclidean Space
  • Chapter 2 Differentiation

Series 2 - Advanced Differentiation Current Course

  • Chapter 3 Higher-Order Derivatives; Maxima and Minima
  • Chapter 4 Vector-Valued Functions

Series 3 - Basic Integration

  • Chapter 5 Double and Triple Integrals
  • Chapter 6 The Change of Variables Formula

Series 4 - Advanced Integration

  • Chapter 7 Integral Over Paths and Surfaces
  • Chapter 8 The Integral Theorems of Vector Analysis

Vector Calculus Series 2: Basics of Optimization Theory and Vector Functions

In Series 2, based on the content of Series 1, you will learn the theory of maxima and minima for multivariable functions and the general theory of vector functions.

  • You will learn the general theory of vector functions, which is essential for understanding the beautiful(!) theories covered in the subsequent integration series. Additionally, you will become familiar with the numerous mathematical symbols used in various physics and engineering formulas.

Shall we take a look at some things you might be curious about regarding the course? 🙋‍♂️

Q. Is any prior knowledge required?
A. You need to have taken my first course, <Vector Calculus Series 1>, and should be familiar with most of the content from Calculus 1. However, don't worry too much, as I will briefly review the necessary concepts from Calculus 1 as we progress through the course.

Q. Isn't the lecture difficult?
A. The reason the Calculus 2 course taught at universities feels difficult is purely because it is hard to cover all the content in a single semester. It inevitably feels difficult because students have to study many parts on their own within a tight timeframe. In this course, I explain the parts that might feel difficult in as much detail as possible. I believe that those who understand Calculus 1 and Part 1 of this lecture series will be able to learn without any major issues.

Please note before taking the course!

  • 😲  Each lecture was completed with at least 30 hours of effort. I don't like doing things halfway.
  • 😪 If the speaking pace in the lecture feels slow, I recommend watching at 1.25 to 1.5x speed.
  • 🙋‍♂️ Please feel free to let me know anytime if you have any questions or suggestions for improvement.
  • 😫 Questions regarding personal homework, exam problems, or past exam papers outside of the course content will not be accepted.

Thank you so much for your valuable review!!ㅎㅎ I will continue to make helpful lectures in the future. Oh, I have roughly compared the textbooks since I received several requests for the exact same thing via email. First, I will finish the vector calculus series and think about what lectures to make.. I will also make the integral series as soon as possible. Thank you again!! Have a nice day!ㅎㅎ

I enjoyed it a lot. After taking several math courses, I could tell that this course was definitely made with a lot of care. In particular, Units 3.3 and 3.4 were directly related to me, and I was able to review the basic content of those sections.
