How does artificial intelligence think and learn? Complete mastery of machine learning

Conquer everything about world-changing AI in just 4 lectures! Lecture 1. The True Identity of Artificial Intelligence AI is not magic. It's a digital brain created by analyzing human 'intelligence' like a mathematical formula! We thoroughly dissect the core structure of seemingly smart artificial intelligence. Lecture 2. Algorithm, AI's Creative (?) Thinking Method How does a pondering AI find answers? Experience firsthand the strategies of AI that plays Go, finds routes, and predicts your search results. Lecture 3. AI Hardware, The Engine That Turns Imagination Into Reality! The chip inside your smartphone is the heart of AI. We dissect everything from CPU, GPU, TPU, to even those unknown names. Lecture 4. The Great Clash of Machine Learning and Deep Learning! What on earth does it mean for AI to 'learn'? From classic rule-based AI to the currently hot ChatGPT! We trace the evolution of learning.

  • Machine Learning and Deep Learning: Differences and Basic Principles

  • AI's Body: Hardware

  • All about AI's core brain algorithms

This course is not just a technical course.
It is a reconstruction of the intellectual system that allows us to philosophically understand and practically utilize the complex and rapidly evolving technology called AI.

The first part starts with the question, “What is AI?” Can AI that speaks, acts, and judges like a human be called “intelligence”? This lecture defines AI not as a vague new technology, but as a system that converts human thinking into a computable procedure . It deals with how AI in everyday life, such as chatbots, self-driving cars, and translators, works, and whether they really “think” or not, from a technical and philosophical perspective.

In the second part, we delve deep into the world of algorithms , the brain of AI. From AlphaGo, which beat humans at Go, to navigation that searches for optimal paths, to AI that devises strategies in the stock market—all of these operate on state space exploration, tree and graph structures, minimax, and heuristic-based decision-making algorithms . In this part, you will go beyond simply ‘there is an algorithm’ and intuitively understand how AI defines problems, branches, and narrows down solutions.

But algorithms alone are not enough. For AI to shine in the real world, powerful hardware is needed. In the fourth lecture, we will explain in detail the role of special hardware such as GPU, TPU, and NPU , the physical foundation of AI that we easily overlook in our daily lives. It will clearly reveal why the AI function of smartphones has suddenly become faster, why ChatGPT consumes so much power, and why companies are investing billions of dollars in developing dedicated chips for AI. AI is not only a software competition, but also a hardware competition.

The last four lectures are the technical culmination of this course. It is the world of machine learning and deep learning . You will understand the structure of AI learning on its own and improving through data, and you can learn the core concepts of machine learning such as supervised learning, unsupervised learning, and reinforcement learning with real-life examples. In addition, the basic structure of neural networks and the operating principles of various deep learning architectures such as CNN, RNN, and GAN are explained so that even non-majors can understand them.

This course is not a simple introduction to AI. It goes beyond how AI works, and asks why it had to work that way, and what choices humans can make in front of it . It is a liberal arts course on AI that can be recommended to anyone, from beginners who want to understand the technology to practitioners who want to organize the overall flow of AI, and a strategy course for designing the future .
