[Free Special Lecture] The Day My Channel Was Deleted Overnight — YouTube Circumvention Policies · AI-Generated Content Labels and a Record of Distribution Beyond YouTube

This is a firsthand account of a Shorts channel that reached 1,000 subscribers and 1.03 million total views just 21 days after launch, then was permanently deleted under the “Circumvention policy” despite having zero warnings. Alongside primary-source screenshots, it reveals person-level restrictions and three major taboos confirmed directly with support teams at Google One, YouTube, and Google Ads; conflicts involving AI labels and scheduled posts encountered while uploading to Reels, TikTok, Threads, and X; and a self-hosted main-channel setup that brought 84 videos back online with a one-line switch (`player.json`) just 18 minutes after an appeal was rejected.

GPT Teacher Free Special Lecture · 6 Videos, 13 Minutes

The channel, which had zero warnings, disappeared at 9:46 a.m.

It was the very morning I passed 1,000 subscribers and 1.03 million total views, just 21 days after launching. I immediately filed an appeal, but at 2:44 p.m., I received an email rejecting it and saying recovery was impossible.
Then, 18 minutes later, at 3:02 p.m., the videos came back online on my main site. From the original takedown email and the customer support team’s confirmation to the traps around AI-generated content labels on different platforms and an off-YouTube backup system that can be brought back with a one-line switch, I’m laying it all out with the records to prove it.

The finished product: actual records, from termination to same-day recovery

2026-10-08 ~ 10-23: A True Account

I’ve compiled only the facts verified through emails we actually received, official support chats, and deployment logs—not internet speculation.

Why Was It Deleted Despite Having Zero Warnings?

The newly uploaded video had no copyright or spam issues. Instead, the history of an old channel that had been shut down during an experiment in the first half of the year under the same Google account was linked later, and the channel was permanently deleted for violating the “circumvention policy” (2026-10-08 09:46).

Actual email received

Would it work to create a new one with a different email?

No. According to YouTube Support chat, the restriction applies not to accounts or devices, but to the “person (natural person).” The very next day, two empty overseas channels with zero videos uploaded were also automatically deleted. Gmail and Google Drive (30TB), however, remain unaffected.

A definitive answer from customer support

How Were the Broken Embedded Videos Recovered?

By changing one line in the main site’s player.json setting from youtube to self, playback was restored 18 minutes after the rejection (15:02), and all 84 publicly available 1080p videos (8.11GB, 0 in external transfer fees) were back up by 17:16 that same day.

Same-day deployment log

What’s the hidden pitfall of AI labels on other platforms?

On Threads web, the schedule button gets disabled as soon as you turn on the AI label. On X, I enabled Made with AI and scheduled a post, but the label disappeared entirely from the live post. When the label needs to stay on, posting immediately at the scheduled time is safer than scheduling it in advance.

Platform measurements

If you’ve ever worried about this, take a look in advance.

If I have a secondary channel that was closed or left inactive in the past, is my main channel—the one I’m growing now—at risk too?

If YouTube gets blocked, will I also lose access to the Gmail and Google Drive files I was using?

Where do I turn on the AI-generated content label when posting to Reels, TikTok, Threads, and X so I don’t lose points?

Won’t my traffic charges skyrocket if I stream the videos directly from my own server?

I’ll answer each question from Lessons 2 through 6, using real screenshots and cost figures.

What We Do in the 6 Lessons

1

First, we’ll look at the full sequence from the channel deletion notice to all 84 videos going live again on the main site 18 minutes after the appeal was rejected.

2

See why a channel that surpassed 1,000 subscribers in just 21 days with zero warnings was deleted at 9:46 a.m. for violating the circumvention policy, and how the 764-character appeal was written.

3

We examine person-level restrictions and cascading deletions of empty channels, verified directly with the Google One, YouTube, and Google Ads help centers, and highlight three things you must never do.

4

We examine the traps of duplicate copies and overlapping logos on Reels and TikTok, along with real-world test results showing that AI labels can be blocked or omitted entirely when scheduling posts on Threads and X.

5

We reveal the core-site setup that switches between YouTube embeds and self-hosting with a single player.json line, along with the cost breakdown for 84 videos totaling 8.11 GB (with $0 in transfer fees).

6

I wrap up with a distribution plan that splits one script into video and written formats, and five survival backups to do today while the channel is still active.

What I Left to AI and What I Did Myself

What AI prompts (P1–P3) help with

Reviewing the cleanup order for my Google account and abandoned channel (P1)
Splitting the first fact-based script into a Reels caption, 5 Threads posts, and a first reply (P2)
Checking for duplicate posts and conflicts with scheduled labels during the 30 seconds before upload (P3)

Things that were decided and upheld by a person directly

Directly chatting with 3 official customer support centers and checking the terms
Securing my own domain and connecting an R2 custom domain
The judgment not to engage in prohibited actions such as opening a new account to bypass restrictions or operating under another person’s name

What This Course Is Not

This is not a course that will restore deleted YouTube channels or teach you how to evade penalties. It does not provide legal advice or platform recovery services, and it does not guarantee recovery or any results in views or revenue.

This is a first-hand operational record documenting a channel termination I experienced in October 2026, the switch to self-hosting that same day, and hands-on measurements of upload screens across five platforms (as of October 23, 2026). Since each platform’s policies and button locations may change over time, please also check the official help pages before publishing.

Personal email addresses, account identifiers, and support agents’ real names in actual received emails and support chat screenshots have been covered with opaque solid-color boxes. The lecture audio is AI-generated (TTS).

If you get stuck, ask like this.

Try entering only your situation—without your email address or real name—into the prompts (P1–P3) in the course PDF materials and have AI review it first.
Share any further questions or requests to review your backup structure on the Q&A board and in the open chat room.

Who is this course right for?

  • Creators and solo media operators who keep their original videos only on a single platform such as YouTube and are concerned about the risk of their channel being suspended or terminated.

  • Anyone worried that previously closed or abandoned secondary channels on multiple Google accounts could trigger a chain reaction affecting their main channel.

  • For anyone looking to safely publish content featuring AI-generated images or voices across Reels, TikTok, Threads, and X simultaneously.

Need to know before starting?

  • It is explained using real screenshots and checklists, so you can understand it even without coding or server knowledge.

  • What you’ll need: An AI chat tool (Claude · ChatGPT · Gemini—any of them will work) where you can paste the review prompt from the class materials PDF.
