- Understand the sequential, selective, and iterative representation of the problem-solving process and learn how to clearly express the problem-solving procedure.
- Understand the basic algorithms for problem solving and learn the procedures for generating and utilizing information from given data.
- Learn how to break down complex problems into smaller pieces and solve them efficiently through clear computational thinking.
- Examine various interfaces for utilizing IT devices and understand the effectiveness of human-friendly interfaces utilizing artificial intelligence techniques.
- Understand the principles of artificial intelligence and learn basic artificial intelligence application problems by utilizing the blocks provided in the entry.



🎯 Course Overview


The coming future will usher in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, where information and communication technology will be integrated into all aspects of life and academia. Therefore, computational thinking skills are now essential for developing competitive talent in any field, regardless of the field or occupation.
This course aims to help students in the humanities and social sciences, as well as the arts and physical education, develop an understanding of information and communication technology (ICT) and the ability to integrate it with given problems. Specifically, to cultivate computational thinking, a core area of ICT, students will learn how to express the order of events using logical procedures identical to those used by computers. Furthermore, to understand the principles of artificial intelligence, a key component of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, students will utilize the AI technology in Entry Level and demonstrate its effectiveness through basic examples.
Through this course, students will improve their logical thinking skills and cultivate the ability to integrate their major with information and communication technology in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
