This is one of the most frequently asked questions I get when I teach coding test classes.

Many students unanimously agree.

“Following the solution process is not difficult, but when I first encounter the problem in practice, I don’t know where to start.”


There are a ton of coding test courses on the market these days.

Most of them have excellent curricula and have no difficulty explaining the concepts.

It is well designed to provide a solid foundation for the core theories of data structures and algorithms, and to foster application skills through example problems.


But there is one thing that many lectures overlook.

This is a specific description of the 'problem-solving thought process' itself.

That is, there is a relative lack of training on what to pay attention to when looking at a problem and what direction to approach it in.

Ultimately, from the learner's perspective, although they may understand the examples in the lecture, when they encounter a new problem, they often have no idea why it is being solved this way.


This course was created to address that very shortcoming.

The key is not simply to give you the right answer, but to verbalize the 'method of coming up with' ideas , the 'perspective of analyzing' problems, and the thought processes that real problem solvers unconsciously use .

In this course, you will not learn difficult algorithms and data structures. However, you will solve difficult problems that can be solved with only basic algorithms and data structures.

In the process, you will focus on the essence of problem solving rather than background knowledge.

Specifically, we will learn about the four techniques below by solving examples.

  1. Reverse selection

  2. Collecting items

  3. Change your perspective

  4. Understand the essence

If you master these four problem-solving techniques, you will be able to come up with a much wider range of approaches when solving difficult coding test problems.
