🎯 Educational Goals


- Learn how to clearly express problem-solving procedures using sequential, selective, and iterative expressions for a given problem, and use entries to check the accuracy of the expression.
- Learn the basic algorithms for problem solving and the procedures for generating and utilizing information from given data.
- Learn how to efficiently solve given problems through computational thinking, such as dividing and processing, efficient searching, and sorting.
- Explain the principles of big data and artificial intelligence, which are at the core of the 4th industrial revolution, and solve basic problems using the blocks provided in the entry.



🎯 Course Overview


With the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the ability to not only proficiently operate computers but also utilize and understand various software related to one's field of study and work has become essential for survival. In particular, the ability to write code to solve problems is considered a crucial skill, as it serves as a driving force in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
This course teaches students in the natural sciences or engineering fields to clearly understand a given problem and express the sequence of tasks in a logical sequence, similar to how computers process it. Furthermore, students will understand the principles of big data and artificial intelligence, key technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and demonstrate the utility of artificial intelligence through basic examples.
Through this course, students develop logical thinking skills, understand how to use programming tools, and develop the ability to design algorithms to solve problems.
