If I may dare to say! The gap between marketers who have taken Seth Godin's lectures and those who haven't will continue to widen!! I work as an AE where I write proposals and need to persuade people every day. These days, AI has become so good that I'm working with a lot of optimization and automation, but since decision-making is still done by humans, clear standards, strategic thinking, and data literacy skills are truly essential. This lecture has been tremendously helpful in establishing those standards. Everyone knows Seth Godin, right.. But compared to reading his books,, watching it as a lecture like this really makes me feel like I'm learning from the messenger firsthand. The message itself is really good too. No matter how fast the world changes, I believe Seth Godin's words will help my life for a really long time~!!! After listening to this, I became even more of a fan.

Review from Trial User) Honestly, I think I've been working by relying on intuition while having plans that I called "strategies." I used to think that maybe my intuition was lacking, but it turns out I didn't have a strategy 😊😊 I feel like I've learned how to create and use strategies well. I think I'll be opening this video frequently even while working!

[Review Writing Experience] I eventually came to the realization that all planning is about 'creating something from existing flow that fits the current trend.' Seth Godin's 'The Strategy of Elegance' helps expand this thinking. Breaking free from the obsession of having to create something from nothing, I became eager to try a strategy of observing current trends and adding small shifts in perspective. And the strategic approach presented in outline format seems like it could serve as a good checklist for checking direction when establishing strategies in the future!

What you will gain after the course

  • I deeply understand the essence of strategy.

  • Learn strategic thinking that doesn't fear change and knows how to utilize systems.

  • You can make better choices in a complex world.

📝 Checklist

Can you answer the questions below without hesitation?
If you find yourself hesitating for more than 3 seconds, I recommend this course!

⬜ Who are your competitors, and what kind of game are you playing with them?

⬜ What game rules does your strategy stand on?

⬜ What are the strategic constraints you face, and how are you reflecting them in your design?

We face new variables every day. Technology changes rapidly, customer expectations are unpredictable, and competitors can emerge anytime, anywhere. In such a world, if we only 'react,' it's easy to lose direction.

That's why what's needed is a strategy of building first.

This course goes beyond simple plans or tactics to develop the power to design and lead your own game.

In an era where choice becomes strategy,
join Seth Godin to re-examine your current strategy and awaken the strategist within you.

Features of This Course

  • Insightful lectures exploring the essence of strategy

This covers not just simple 'methodologies,' but the fundamental mindset and structure that form the foundation of strategy. It explores why strategies fail and what makes a strategy truly strategic.

  • We view strategy from the perspective of systems and choices

Strategy is a series of choices, and understanding how these choices are connected to systems is key.

  • Short and in-depth case-based storytelling

It easily breaks down strategic thinking through various analogies and examples such as chess, boxing, cycling, and movies.

  • Provides actionable strategic questions

It provides questions that can diagnose and change the environment I'm currently in, rather than vague theories.

🎯 Into the Lecture

① "Strategy is completed not through 'decisions' but through 'consistency in execution'"

"A good strategy doesn't end with one brilliant idea. Strategy takes shape through repeated execution, becomes embedded in systems, and ultimately changes people's behavior. What criteria does your organization use to make decisions every day? That is the strategy currently being executed. Strategy is not a document, but a culture. Ultimately, the sum of habits that say 'this is how we act' creates strategy."

② "Strategy is the practice of finding the 'decision points' of a system"

"Within systems, there exist nodes that are not easily visible to the eye but have tremendous influence. Most people try to change the entire system, but strategists precisely identify the key nodes within the system. These are the decision points that drive the greatest change with the least effort. Where should you apply force to change the system? This lecture is training to discover exactly those decision points."

③ "Strategy is a game. And that game is something we can change"

"Strategy is a game. However, many people accept the rules of that game as they are and think that strategy is optimization within given rules. But you can also choose what game to play and what rules to play by. Sometimes changing the game itself can be the most strategic choice."

📚You'll learn this kind of content.

Time: Strategy is not about 'timing' but about 'the power to design time'

A good strategy starts not from immediate reactions, but from a perspective that designs the future. The time ahead changes depending on which customers you choose, and the faster you execute and harvest failures, the shorter your learning curve becomes. This lecture teaches you not how to 'endure' time, but how to 'structure' it.

Game: Strategy is not about playing within given rules, but about 'changing the game itself'

Strategy is not a technique for avoiding or optimizing competition. Sometimes it's about changing the rules, and sometimes it's about designing a new game. This lecture helps you choose what game to play and who to play with under what rules.

Empathy: The starting point of strategy is a deep understanding of people

People are not 'nodes' in a system, but beings with emotions and desires. Strategy is training to read human movements and emotional curves before numbers. The lecture says that strategy begins with an attempt to 'understand' not only customers but also teams, organizations, and the entire market.

System: Strategy is not a fragmentary decision, but 'structural design'

Strategy is not a single choice, but designing connections between nodes. What elements drive the system, and where should you intervene to change the whole? This course trains systematic thinking that allows you to understand complex reality in simple terms.

(Trial Group Course Review) I now have a clear understanding of what strategic thinking is needed in the AI era. It was great to see specifically how the concept I had vaguely thought of as just 'strategy' is actually applied in reality, and I was able to gain criteria for how to make judgments and take action in uncertain situations. I gained significant insights, particularly from the fact that this is a way of thinking that can be applied to both life and business. I strongly recommend this to working professionals and those preparing to start a business.
