The AI development team I built on my own by taming Claude Code after spending $1,000 a month learning it

You may have experienced Claude Code producing different results for the same request each time, violating the rules specified in its instructions, and being overly lenient in approving its own output. While developing platform servers in Pangyo and spending over $1,000 a month on Claude Code, I addressed these issues by building a harness consisting of instructions, Hooks, permissions, and a Sandbox instead of relying on prompts. In this course, you’ll build that harness from scratch, add Subagents, Agent Teams, and headless execution, and leave with a complete setup that you can copy and use as-is in other projects.

Before taking this course, to be honest, I had only tried using Claude Code, and had just played around with Cursor and Codex. Of course, I had some vague curiosity about them, but I don't think I ever really dug that deep. "Because they just do everything for you." But after meeting Instructor Hong, my perspective changed completely. Hong doesn't just cover the basics of how to use these tools. He explains how they actually work and how we should think about them. In other words, it's not just, "This feature exists, so give it a try." It's more like, "This feature exists, so give it a try. But here are some of its downsides. Here's why they're downsides. So use it in a way that suits your situation." I really love that way of explaining things. Most people just say, "This is great. Give it a try." But Hong doesn't hide the downsides. He doesn't hide his own mistakes in the course, either. I really appreciate how honest he is. I think that's why we can learn so much more from him. Because in the end, I think we need to focus on the parts that don't work. I feel like once you build a system, most of it works. But when something doesn't work, what went wrong and why? How should we interpret and trace it? Helping us learn to think that way has been incredibly helpful. I think this course is the same. The material itself can be pretty complex and difficult, but the way he explains it so that even someone seeing it for the first time can interpret and understand it is a real skill. He also condenses it all into a short amount of time and gets straight to the key points. In one of his courses, I heard Hong talk about his values: 1. "Your time is valuable, and so is mine. That's why I want to share only the key points." 2. "In the end, you're the ones who have to try it out. I'll show you the way and point out the things to watch out for, but you have to do it yourselves. I'll help you along the way." 3. "I'm not your mom or dad. I'll do my best to help you wherever I can, so don't give up. Ask questions, and let's keep moving forward together." Those were genuinely moving words that really resonated with me. They were full of wisdom. Thank you so much again. P.S. I just wanted to let you know that you've been a huge help to me, even if only this way, haha. Please always take care of your health. P.S. Sometimes people give Hong's courses low ratings... Personally, I think it might be because they're uncomfortable with having to try things for themselves..!! I feel like giving them a playful little bonk!!

I never knew there was a course like this anywhere in Joseon... Since it gets straight to the key points in such a short time, it’s incredibly efficient from my perspective. But does that mean there’s nothing to learn?? I swear on the King of Silla, that’s absolutely not the case. If anything, I think you can learn even more. I bet even Admiral Yi Sun-sin would use Claude Code after seeing this...? Thank you.

There’s no need to watch any other courses on using AI agents... I feel like this one course covers everything perfectly. It’s not even that expensive, and I think you can learn all the key points without any fluff. 1. I learned why you should use multi-agent systems, and got a realistic explanation of why they aren’t always better, along with how they work. 2. I hadn’t even realized you needed to consider something like memory. 3. I learned why you should use a harness, and how to define the standards for it. 4. I came away with a thorough understanding of how to use agents overall. I think most agent courses tend to cover pretty generic topics. For example: - “I built something and drove this much traffic.” - “Here’s what you can build.” - “Let’s just build something together.” I got a strong sense of that from other courses, but this one explains the underlying principles and patterns for how to use agents, so it was a huge help. I guess the know-how you gain from spending $1,000 a month doesn’t just disappear, haha. Thanks for the great course.

I started studying development after becoming interested in it while idling around at home, and I am currently responsible for platform server development in Pangyo. I continue sharing my knowledge because I want to provide you with the methods I used to study, as well as various issues you may encounter in practice and their solutions.

The courses are not created solely from my own knowledge. Every course is made possible with the help of others.
