[2025 Renewal] Building Your Own AWS Cloud Infrastructure - Fundamentals
ð2025 Lecture Renewal with New Videosð
We will explore the detailed functions and options of AWS's most basic and essential key services. By gradually implementing cloud architecture using these services, we aim to foster an understanding of infrastructure structure and operational principles, along with the capability and confidence to build cloud infrastructure directly.
Technologies and related services for implementing AWS architecture
How to use core AWS services, their detailed functions, and options.
The process and methods of building an AWS cloud infrastructure
The correlation between services that make up the AWS cloud infrastructure and the operating principles of the cloud infrastructure.
The capability and confidence to build an AWS cloud infrastructure directly.
How to use AWS effectively in practice? You should be able to implement AWS architecture yourself.
Lecture Renewal Notice
The lecture has been renewed with new videos in 2025! ð â» Please refer to [News] for information on lecture updates.
AWS , how much do you know ?
AWS (Amazon Web Services) is now the world's number one cloud service, recognized by many as a service that more people know than don't. In Korea, it is widely used in the IT field regardless of industry, so AWS Cloud is a technology that must be known to those who work in the IT field or wish to work in it. That's why they study a lot and obtain many certifications, but is that all?
AWS , how much can you use ?
If you work in the field for a long time on AWS cloud-related tasks, you will often see people who are not well prepared in practical terms. In fact, among those who have joined the company as new employees or have changed teams or companies through job changes, there are many who lack the experience of creating even a simple architecture.
Since the cloud is not an environment that you can see right in front of you like a traditional data center, it is true that it is difficult to perform work related to the cloud without first-hand experience and creation, even if your role is not to build the architecture.
AWS architecture, isn't it difficult to create ?
Many people have difficulty implementing architectures themselves, even though they can use individual AWS services to some extent, because they do not know what steps and processes to go through to create them . However, the method of implementing architecture is the same as when we create things. In other words,
1ïžâ£ Think about what kind of function the object (architecture) will have,
2ïžâ£ Decide which materials (related technologies and AWS services) to use,
3ïžâ£ After thinking about the relationship between the materials, draw a picture of how to arrange them.
4ïžâ£ The actual thing (architecture) is created.
This process may be a little difficult at first, but if you practice with simple architectures, it will become more familiar and easier.
One action is worth a thousand words! As much as I made it myself Your skills will improve.
Those who have created a simple architecture from start to finish have a higher level of understanding of AWS services and the architecture they consist of. Their cloud utilization skills are also higher, and there is a high possibility that their skills will continue to improve in the future. In this online lecture in the form of a workshop,
1ïžâ£ After explaining the technologies and AWS services required to implement the architecture and understanding the functional flow and interrelationships of the services that make up the architecture through diagrams,
2ïžâ£ You will implement the architecture with your own hands.
Detailed hands-on training focused on the AWS Management Console!
AWS services can be deployed and managed in code form in a development environment, but the most basic and convenient environment to use is the web-based AWS Management Console .
In particular, in order to create and configure a specific service, you need to be able to use various options, but if you approach the code without knowing how the service is created and operates or how the detailed options are configured, you will often encounter difficulties.
So, if you look at the detailed settings and options in the web-based AWS management console and create services by seeing them with your own eyes , you will understand them better and it will be of great help in writing or managing code later.
Practice speaks louder than theory, seeing is believing!
The lecture videos are structured around practice and are made to be quick and easy, so even those who are new to architecture can follow along without difficulty.
A hundred words are not as good as seeing once! Rather than hearing a hundred times, we will help you develop your AWS cloud utilization skills by creating an actual architecture at least once through this lecture.

â This is a hands-on lecture that focuses on configuring cloud infrastructure using AWS core services rather than explaining theories or concepts.
â Since the entire practical training content is conducted step by step from beginning to end, you can not only learn how to use individual services, but also understand the relationships between services and the operating principles of the infrastructure from an infrastructure perspective .
â You can learn how to use the service in more depth by looking at the detailed options and functions of each service while configuring the infrastructure.
Please note before taking the class !
The difficulty level of this course is from basic to basic , and you will learn the basic concepts and basic usage methods of AWS's major infrastructure-related services.
Knowledge of AWS cloud is sufficient if you have a basic understanding of the concepts of each service covered in the lecture. (Example: VPC is a logically isolated virtual private network. Elastic Load Balancer performs the function of distributing network traffic.)
Since this is a hands-on workshop lecture, please note that we will not provide in-depth explanations of knowledge or theory for each individual service covered in the lecture.
Most of the services covered in the lecture can be used for free within the scope of AWS Free Tier benefits, but since AWS services are basically structured to charge for the amount used , if you are going to practice using a personal account, we recommend that you create a new account and participate in the lecture . â» Services that are not covered by the free tier in the lecture content: Elastic IP, NAT Gateway, RDS created in multiple availability zones â» We also recommend that you refer to the resource notes to save on mid-curriculum practical training costs .
The lab environment used in the lecture is as follows: OS: Windows, Browser: Chrome, SSH Client: PuTTY
