Pass rate 1% -> 66%, 2nd year salary achieved 6,000 ☑️ I've compiled all the know-how that transformed a resume that was rejected over 300 times into one that 'always passes' into a single book. Do you feel like you're falling behind even though you're working as hard as everyone else? If you're having trouble even passing document screening despite taking countless courses and building your specs, there's a high chance you're misunderstanding the 'rules of the game.' This book will teach you the 'rules of the winning game' itself, so that your efforts lead to the results you deserve.
Practical Formula to Instantly Increase Your Resume Pass Rate
Breaking the Curse of 'Building Specs' Through a 'Shift in Perspective'
Roadmap to Becoming an 'Irreplaceable Talent' in the AI Era
After 300 resume rejections, at the end of despair asking 'Am I just not good enough?', I found 'the rules of a game I couldn't lose'. The principles of a 'winning resume' that enabled a non-major with nothing to choose from desired large corporations within a year, analysis of actual successful resumes, copy-paste templates - I've put everything into this one book.
Over the past 2 years of conducting hands-on mentoring for more than 160 people, I discovered one unfortunate common pattern. Most people weren't lacking things to write about, but rather they couldn't showcase what they had. This book doesn't contain abstract theories, but rather verified 'winning formulas' based on data from the entire job transition process.
And we propose passing and the next steps beyond that. In an era where AI writes code for us, how can you rapidly achieve compressed growth as a junior developer to seize new opportunities? Standing on the shoulders of the AI giant, leaping over a 10-year gap in one bound, finally reaching the point of 'becoming a developer who doesn't need a resume' and designing your own game - we've compiled all the answers we found through countless sleepless nights into this book.
Before investing your precious time and money, please focus for just 1 minute.
I'll quickly let you know if this book can really solve your problem.
Someone who has submitted resumes dozens or hundreds of times but keeps getting rejected at the document screening stage and has lost confidence
A 1-3 year developer who is clearly working hard but feels like their growth has stagnated, and feels their resume is too ordinary
Someone who wants to give up "because I'm not from a CS background", "because I'm too old", "because I have little experience"
"I've learned Spring, JPA, Docker, but why am I not getting hired?" Someone who has built up their specs but isn't seeing results
Those who want to go beyond simple employment and become irreplaceable developers in the AI era
Those whose main technology stack is other than web backend (the principles are universal, but examples are centered around Java/Spring.)
Those preparing for overseas employment or applying to global companies
Those with 5+ years of experience or those who already have their own solid resume philosophy (this book is optimized for entry-level to junior professionals)
"My way is right, I don't need advice" type of person (may conflict with the book content)
Someone who wants to be spoon-fed the 'correct answer' without any effort
This book isn't just a simple listing of information, but rather a book that helps you first change your 'perspective' and then enables you to execute in a way that works.
Algorithm Coding Test Preparation Methods (Let's Focus on Your Resume)
Learning Methods for Tech Stacks like React and AWS
How to do well in interviews, how to do well in dating
Nice to meet you.
I'm Grit, who failed first and found the way by confronting challenges head-on.
You're probably looking at this screen right now with feelings like these.
"Could this be... the answer I've been looking for?"
"Could what this person is saying really be true?"
"Can I change too?"
If you were drawn in by the introduction,
You're probably going through a similar process to what I experienced before changing jobs, or
I think you're at the stage of just starting to prepare for a developer career.
This book is for those who have the question 'Can I do it too?'
I'm getting old...
I'm not from a computer science background...
I have a gap in my career...
They say your first company salary is important, but mine is too low...
Like an explorer discovering a dusty secret tome in the corner of an old library, there must be those whose hearts are racing right now. With half doubt and half excitement, thinking 'Can I finally end this tiresome routine?' or 'I've finally found it.'
If my two years of failures and successes, those experiences and footsteps, have resonated with you, and if you have that intuition that only you seem to have noticed something others don't know, then yes. That intuition is what I'm sending to you as an 'invitation'.
I use the nickname Grit.
It's a name I chose when I started mentoring on Inflearn a year ago. While it also means 'persistence' and 'fighting spirit', it holds a more honest meaning for me.
Grind(갈아엎다) + It(그것을, 현실을)
I wanted to remember those moments when I broke through and overcame the wall of reality, despite lacking in specs, age, and educational background.
Three years ago, I too once pinned my hopes on someone's story, just like you.
"That person did it too... so I should be able to do it as well, right?"
And I really did it.
Started development in early 30s as a pure liberal arts non-major
First salary in the 20 million won range → 50 million won range in just 1 year (100% increase rate)
2nd year, achieved salary in the 60 million won range
Over 300 document rejections → 66% acceptance rate in the last 2 months (4 out of 6 applications to top-tier domestic companies accepted)
Current document pass rate confirmed at 85% (based on top-tier domestic companies)
Inflearn 1:1 Mentoring 45 sessions completed, 5.0 perfect rating
Conducted mentoring for over 160 people including other bootcamps
I'll honestly share my career experience and the corresponding salary increase rates.
Domestic large corporation subsidiary (service company): Starting salary in the 20 million won range (0 months experience)
Same company: Achieved 30 million won salary range (6 months in)
Pangyo Large Corporation: Achieved 50 million won salary range (1st year)
Same company: Achieved 60 million won salary (2nd year)
Although I started my career as a developer at a relatively late age,
I have unique experiences and my own job search/career change know-how accumulated based on them.
Experience of applying to over 300 places and being rejected countless times
The experience of countless times wondering how to grow faster than others
Experience of rapid growth while being recognized at the company I used as a stepping stone and spending high-quality, intensive time
Experience of countless contemplations on how to effectively showcase my capabilities as much as I grow
Most importantly, the experience of raising the success rate from around 1% to 66% by submitting resumes for career transition without any short-term special experiences
During the latter 2 months of my job transition period, upgrading my resume through n stages
'My resume is a resume that gets accepted' - I gained this confidence, and
I was able to apply only to the top-tier companies that I really wanted to join.
❌ Prestigious university computer science degree
❌ Famous bootcamp completion experience (from unknown government-funded academy)
❌ Excellent coding test skills (50% average solving rate)
❌ Similar age to others (early 30s when first employed)
❌ Outstanding connections or background
✅ The 'Winning Formula' Found Through 300 Failures
✅ Tenacity to never give up until the end
✅ An engineer's mindset of validating and improving with data
"I'm getting old, but..."
"I'm not from a related major, but..."
"I have a gap period..."
I've made all these excuses(?) too, you know.
And I also know that those aren't excuses, but real barriers.
But at the same time, I also know this.
That there definitely exists a way to overcome that barrier.
"To think that even my mentor went through times like this—for the first time, I thought 'I can do this too.'"
"Other mentors only talk about things that are too far removed, but you understand my situation exactly."
"I didn't know a resume could change like this. I finally gained confidence."
I'm not a 10-year senior.
I'm not a 'successful mentor' with a glamorous background either.
Instead, I am someone who stood in exactly the same position as you three years ago, had the same worries, and tasted the same despair.
There's an amazing fact I discovered while mentoring on Inflearn. Do you believe the following fact?
✓ Mentor Experience: Just a junior who's 2-3 years ahead
→ No fancy resume or famous career background
→ In comparison, the actual Inflearn mentoring pool: NAVER, Kakao, LINE, Coupang, Baemin + numerous renowned developers from Silicon Valley
✓ My mentoring price:
Inflearn's highest-priced resume mentoring (around 170,000 won)
→ Highest price sustained for over a year
→ More expensive than any other mentoring
✓
Reservations close an average of 2 weeks in advance
→ Currently proceeding at 90%↑ every Saturday so far
→ Always maintains full bookings with an average of about 2 weeks
✓ Perfect 5.0 rating + Continuous stream of passing news
→ Not a single low rating
→ Continuously receiving acceptance news from actual mentees + maintaining friendships
At some point, I suddenly became curious.
I asked directly, "There must be many other good mentoring options out there, so why does everyone come to me?"
Here are the responses that came back.
1️⃣ "I came here because a friend recommended it" (more than half)
"My friend said the mentoring was really great..."
"Seeing a fellow bootcamp cohort member's resume change..."
Is there any stronger evidence than someone who actually spent 170,000 won of their own money and invested their time recommending to an acquaintance, "You should try this too"?
2️⃣ "It didn't end just once, and you kept watching over me"
"Other mentoring sessions ended after just one session, but my mentor met with me over 10 times"
I actually review resumes continuously - 10 times, 20 times, even up to 30 times. I'll help with interviews as much as you want too. The reason I started mentoring isn't to brag about myself.
3️⃣ "You were in a similar situation as the mentor"
"You had the exact same concerns as me three years ago, mentor"
"For the first time, I felt like 'this person understands my situation'"
Three years ago, and even now, I continue to contemplate, experiment, fail, and challenge myself. As a fellow junior. As a fellow beginner. I don't say things I don't believe in. I don't tell you to do things I haven't done myself. I speak about methods that work now, not methods from 10 years ago.
I still often think about that day from three years ago.
It was the day when all the courses at the government-funded academy had ended, and I had even completed the final project. That entire day was scheduled for a 'resume writing' lecture. The instructor was displaying something on the screen and explaining it, but I just stared blankly at the white Word page in front of me.
Really, it was a state of 'absolute nothingness (無)'. I didn't even know where to start, what to do, or how to begin. Should I write in Word? PowerPoint? Or maybe Notion? That overwhelming feeling was bigger than I thought. I spent the entire morning just staring at a blinking cursor, and in the afternoon, with a throbbing headache, I eventually fled home like I was running away. That day, I couldn't write a single line except for my own name.
Looking back now, it wasn't that the lecture was bad. It's just that I wasn't ready at all to absorb it at the time.
I can't forget that overwhelming feeling of being lost.
So the very first thing I ask before starting mentoring is this: What is the biggest difficulty you face in the process of job searching or career transition?
And I started from that point and tried to go all the way to the end. Like it was my own work. I was just trying to become that 'person next to me' that I desperately wanted three years ago. I'm so grateful that so many people joined me along the way.
The more I do mentoring, the more I realize that just like me three years ago, countless people today are still standing before the same overwhelming uncertainty I faced back then. And what's really unfortunate is that most people have good resources, but they're heading in the wrong direction and putting their energy and time into the wrong places.
Why do some resumes get accepted while others get rejected?
Why do some people get ahead while others fall behind?
Why do some people say this market is difficult, while others say it's worth trying?
The fact that there are reasons for both what works and what doesn't work is actually quite comforting. Once you understand those reasons, or the 'rules of the game,' you can get on the right track without wasting time.
That's why I created this book.
How can I share this 'proven formula' that I've validated with over 160 people over the past 2 years to even more people?
How can we reduce that overwhelming time by 1/100?
The result of that intense contemplation is this very book.
Creating resumes together with 160 people,
Having conversations for over 2 hours each time, pondering, and making revisions
All the patterns discovered.
Revising resumes together 10, 20, 30 times each
"Oh, changing it like this makes it pass"
Every moment confirmed by data.
Realized Through 300 Rejections
The painful truths about "why it didn't work."
And discovered while the acceptance rate increased from 1% to 66%
Clear formulas that say "this is how you do it."
All of this has been packed into one book of about 240 pages.
I didn't simply list information.
I spent hundreds of hours grinding to recreate 1:1 mentoring exactly as it is.
We tried to include all the 'clinical data' from over 160 actual resumes while protecting personal information.
Beyond resumes, we ultimately wanted to provide challenges and inspiration for one person's 'real' career design.
They don't spoon-feed you the answer by saying "Use it like this."
Instead, we diagnose the root cause of why your resume isn't working, and instill the 'mindset' itself that transforms your experience into the finest dish.
After countless sleepless nights, failing first and hitting walls first, I'll now pass on the 'rules of the game' that I've discovered.
Let's go together. There's a way.
📌 Those who are stuck in the swamp of document screening
"I tried 100 times, but why doesn't it work only for me?"
"Are they actually looking at my resume?"
📌 Those who feel they have nothing to write about because their experiences are too ordinary
"Other people's resumes are impressive, but my resume seems to have only one CRUD project, and I feel overwhelmed"
📌 Those who have anxiety about being non-majors, age, and career gaps
"I won't make it because I'm not from a related major"
"I'm late because I'm old"
✓ You've submitted resumes dozens or hundreds of times, but rejection emails have become more familiar than acceptance letters, and you're losing confidence
✓ While my study buddies are going to interviews, I feel like I'm the only one stuck at the resume stage, making me feel anxious and worried
✓ You definitely did something, but when you try to write it on your resume, you feel overwhelmed trying to summarize "So what did I actually learn?" Those who want to know how to package their experiences as 'achievements'

✓ Those who want to give up before even starting because of labels like "I'm not from a tech background," "I'm too old," or "I have a career gap"

→ Copy-paste ready templates and checklists you can apply starting today
→ In actual mentoring, more than 8 out of 10 people experience an immediate change in their acceptance rate
✓ Gain confidence that "my resume is a resume that gets accepted".
→ You can confidently click the apply button without worrying "Is this right?" anymore

→ "What more should I learn?" → "What can I show with what I have?"
→ "I am lacking" → "I am differentiated like this"
→ "Building specs" → "Proving value"
✓ Master the 'resume design skills' you'll use for life.

3 Real Resume Case Studies of Successful Applicants
AI Era Compressed Growth Strategy Roadmap
And above all, "I can do it too" is an unwavering conviction
Why doesn't effort lead to results?
This book clearly diagnoses the reason,
We present a specific formula to transform all your experiences into 'acceptance signals'.
Does a resume that guarantees acceptance exist?
With this question in mind, I conducted countless experiments and research over the past two years. And I not only proved it myself but also confirmed that my hypothesis and methods work through working with numerous mentees.
We don't rely on vague 'success myths' or personal 'intuition'.
Beyond one person's success experience, I wanted to create 'a success formula that anyone can replicate'.
Over a period of more than 2 years, I conducted countless tests and validations on my own. I searched for solutions while contemplating with over 160 mentees. I embraced the earnestness contained in each person's resume and pondered together, "How can we make this person's value shine even brighter?" Through that intense process, vast amounts of data naturally accumulated about which sentences lead to acceptance and which expressions result in rejection.
This book contains only the most reliable 'formula' that survived that entire journey, one that allows you to replicate the 8 out of 10 success rate.
Are you worried that you have nothing to write about? Sorry, but that's the wrong question.
Many people focus on fixing the 'sentences' and 'words' in their resumes. But the real problem isn't writing skills. It's the 'perspective' itself of thinking of a resume as 'a record of what I've done.'
This book doesn't offer a 'quick fix prescription' of adding one more line to your specs, but proposes a 'perspective remodeling' that recreates all your experiences into 'sellable stories'. Before worrying about 'what more should I learn', it first solves 'how should I present what I have'. When your perspective changes, the same experiences become a completely different resume.
Wrong Question ❌ "What technology should I learn more?"
Correct Question
✅ "What can I prove with what I have?"
This book doesn't just tell you "how to use it" methods (How). It helps you understand the principles of "why you should use it that way" (Why) from the ground up.
I don't want to change what you have, but rather the eyes that look at it. Once your perspective changes, it becomes yours for life.
As someone who has failed first, I understand your current concerns more accurately than anyone else.
Sometimes advice from someone who's just one step ahead can be more accurate than success stories from people who've made it too big or tales from great figures who are already far ahead.
I started in my 30s, was a non-major, had a first salary in the 2,000 range, and was rejected more than 300 times.
So, what's the difference?
✓ Covers 'overcoming failure stories', not 'success myths'.
It's not about "working hard makes it work," but rather I'll share with you "the methods that don't work, I've realized."
✓ We provide 'realistic solutions', not 'idealistic advice'.
It doesn't show "This way is perfect," but rather "I also had this handicap, but I overcame it this way."
✓ Shows a path that is 'reproducible by anyone', not 'the genius method'.
Because they succeeded without a fancy background, you too gain the realistic confidence that "I can do this too."
Instead, it can be sharper and more painful.
Why isn't my resume being read? You need to understand the rules of the game first!

Real change must come from 'action'.
But the path of going it alone can be lonely and overwhelming.
We shouldn't just talk about it, we really need to go together.

Finally, I'll share something really important with you.
This book is not magic.
Just buying a book doesn't change anything. Your resume doesn't automatically get completed the moment you download a PDF. Just reading doesn't increase your acceptance rate.
I'll be honest with you.
This book will demand a lot from you.
✓ First, 'time'it is.
It takes 3-4 hours just to thoroughly read Part 0-6
Actually spending 5-10 hours rewriting a resume
2-3 hours to refine while referencing the appendix FAQ
A minimum of 10 hours, or more, of absolute time investment is required.
✓ Second, 'courage'.
"Why didn't my resume work?" The courage to face it objectively
The courage to admit "I was wrong"
"I need to completely overhaul the resume I've built up until now" - the courage to make that decision
You might need to completely overhaul your resume.
✓ Third, 'action'is key.
You need to sit directly in front of the computer and type.
Please rewrite your self-introduction after reading Part 3.
Read Part 4 and completely overhaul the project description
Please fix items 10 and 20 using the appendix checklist
Reading is not enough. You must write it yourself.
✓ Fourth, 'patience'is key.
Patience in accepting that perfect results may not come all at once
When receiving another rejection email, the patience to find 'areas for improvement' instead of despair
Patience to maintain my own pace without being rushed by news of others' success around me
Even if things don't change overnight, it requires the patience to believe in the right direction and keep moving forward.
Finally, let me be completely honest with you.
If you do it this way, nothing will change even after buying this book.
❌ Download PDF, skim through it once, and that's it
❌ Procrastinating with "I'll do it later" and then forgetting about it
❌ Only reading but not actually fixing the resume
❌ Giving up in the middle saying "This doesn't seem right for me"
❌ Looks at checklist, says "too bothersome" and skips it
You're literally just throwing money away 100%.
But on the other hand, if you're actually executing it.
✅ Part 0-2 Reading and realizing "Ah, so that's why I was eliminated"
✅ Part 3-4 Read and move your hands to directly improve your resume
✅ Learn the "this is how to write it" pattern by looking at Part 5 success cases
✅ Revised over 10 times using the appendix checklist
✅ If you get stuck, go back to Part 7 FAQ to find answers
✅ Ask questions and get feedback in the community
If you do this, your resume will definitely change.
Once you gain confidence from your resume, many things will change from that point forward.
That's because the first step of document screening is something you can make perfect with thorough preparation.
Once your resume is complete, you can focus on the next steps, making it realistically possible to get accepted at top-tier companies.
If it still doesn't work even after doing that, bring it to me. Bring it ten times, twenty times if needed.
However, there is one condition.
Think for yourself, act, make an effort, and never give up.
I'll help you until it works, until the very end.
I'll answer in advance the questions you've asked most frequently and the ones you're probably most curious about.
Q. My experience is limited to ordinary CRUD projects... Can I still create a 'viable' resume with this?
A. Yes, it's 100% possible. In fact, this book is specifically for people like you. The secret to passing interviews lies not in the 'size of experience' but in the 'depth of experience'. This book teaches you to ask 'why?' 10 times about your CRUD projects, helping you extract compelling 'problem-solving narratives' like 'experience resolving concurrency issues' or 'experience optimizing N+1 problems' - specific methods to uncover stories that even senior interviewers would find interesting. The more ordinary the ingredients, the more important the chef's skill becomes.
Q. I'm a non-major who came from government-funded training programs. My specs are nowhere near what's needed for the so-called 'Big Tech companies' - will this book really be helpful?
A. Actually, I wrote this for people like you. I was also in my 30s, non-major, from an unknown government-funded academy. Because I had nothing, I had to obsess over how to 'show' what I had at 120%. This book is not for people with impressive specs. It's a 'survival strategy guide' for people like you who need to create the best dish with insufficient ingredients. I will prove with all my experience how your weaknesses can become powerful weapons that no one else can imitate.
Q. Honestly, resume-related information is all over the internet. What makes this book fundamentally different from blog posts or other courses?
A. That's a good question. There are 3 decisive differences.
We teach you the 'system'. Rather than scattered advice, we provide a reproducible 'formula' that delivers results when followed exactly.
Proven with 'data'. This isn't just my personal success story, but a methodology verified through over 160 mentoring cases, with an 8 out of 10 success rate.
Design your 'career'. Beyond simple job hunting, we present a long-term roadmap to survive in the AI era and become a 'developer who doesn't need a resume'. This isn't just a resume book.
Q. Does just reading the book increase the pass rate by 10 times? Were there no 'failure cases' in the mentoring?
Q3. "Is it over once I buy the book? Do I need to pay any additional money?"
"It's actually the opposite. We provide mentoring in addition to the book price."
Many people are surprised by this part,
I don't want this book to be something you just 'read and finish.' So that you can actually produce 'results,' I've included my 'time' and 'experience' along with the book's price.
