I had some idea of how to write a resume, but this helped reinforce it once more and seemed to help me think about it more deeply. As someone who is older and from a non-technical background like myself, there were parts I could relate to, which was great. I'll try to succeed in getting a job through this lecture.

Sometimes the process of clarifying what we know and gaining confidence is just as important as learning something new. I'm particularly touched that you resonated with the age and non-major background aspects. Having walked the same path myself, I understand that overwhelming feeling and anxiety better than anyone, and I wrote this book with the desperation to somehow find a breakthrough.
