Collaborate on projects more effectively with JIRA!
What is JIRA?
As product and service release cycles shorten and quality requirements increase, projects become more and more difficult to execute.
For a successful project, it is important for the team to work more effectively, share progress and feedback, collaborate, and manage work history.
JIRA is a product developed by Atlassian, an Australian collaboration software company, that helps multiple teams performing various tasks manage tasks and collaborate effectively.
Initially designed as a bug and issue tracker, it is now a powerful task and project management tool that also provides requirements management, asset management, and agile software development management.

Although the number of users in Korea is increasing, there is no proper material to get started with JIRA, so I have seen many people experiencing difficulties and trial and error in the beginning, which is why I created this course.
Why is JIRA difficult?
When first encountering JIRA, a common feeling is "It's so complicated."

JIRA is a general-purpose task management tool, so it offers a wide range of features, allows you to set different fields and screens for each project, and provides agile-based methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban in addition to traditional development methodologies.
These rich and powerful features can actually act as a barrier when first encountering JIRA, and the difficulty of using it can actually hinder its spread.

In this lecture, we will explain the essential features frequently used in JIRA and explain issue management and project management using real-life examples in order to lower the entry barrier for those who are new to JIRA.
What is the difference between Epic, Story, and Task?
Project management is the sum of issue management.
When you first encounter JIRA, you may be at a loss as to how to register an issue and which of the various issue types (Epic, Story, Task, Bug, etc.) to use.
To help you become familiar with issue management, we will explain the important fields of an issue, how to register an issue effectively, the difference between issue types, and which type to use.

How to use Scrum and Kanban in JIRA?
Many companies are transitioning from waterfall model methodology to agile methodologies that can respond quickly to change.
JIRA Software also supports Agile, but even if you read the book, you may not get a good feel for how JIRA uses Agile methodologies.
In this lecture, you will learn the basic knowledge required to proceed with an agile project by performing the entire life cycle of an agile project based on Scrum and Kanban.

How did that happen back then?
The past is a mirror of the present, and the mistakes you made last time may be the lessons you will learn today.
In order for mistakes and trial and error to be transformed into know-how, past experiences and contexts must be honestly recorded in an environment with psychological stability , so that they can be quickly and accurately retrieved and applied later.
Today's business environment is changing rapidly, and the amount of work being handled by individuals and teams is increasing, making it difficult to accurately remember the history of individual tasks.
However, if you have recorded your work in JIRA, you can easily find your past history and convert it into current know-how at any time using JIRA's powerful search function.
In particular, you will learn how to search for issues in detail using JQL (JIRA Query Language), JIRA's search language, so you can effectively analyze project and team work information.

Target product
JIRA has various product lines such as Software, Core, Align, and Service Desk, and is further divided based on whether it is On-Premise or Cloud.
The target product group for this lecture is JIRA Software, and JIRA Cloud, which is gaining more and more users these days, is the main base. JIRA Server, an installable product, is also explained when necessary.
I would like to inform you.
The lectures on adding/changing Workflow Scheme, adding/changing Screen Scheme, and project mapping, which are among the core functions of JIRA, are scheduled to be added in January 21.
