Now, with Google Spreadsheets Work smart and be more efficient!
Google Spreadsheet What the heck? 🤔
Think of it as Excel made by Google ! 💁♀️ It's free to use and works on web browsers like Chrome, Whale, Safari, etc. You can use it anytime, anywhere you have internet access.
The biggest difference from Excel is that it is web browser-based, so multiple people can work on it at the same time. It is possible to import or export data from other files or the web.
In particular, it integrates well with other SaaS tools such as Slack and Zapier. If you set it up well, you can create an environment where you can work comfortably .
Spreadsheet lecture, Why was it created? 👨🏫
Introducing instructor Choi Ki-young, who created this course 🙂
Instructor Kiyoung Choi, who created this course, was originally an employee of a large corporation, having worked at companies such as S and H. Large companies don't use external web browsers or cloud-based services due to security vulnerabilities. Back then, they diligently organized and documented documents and data using Excel and PPT.
But! I gave up half my annual salary at a large company and decided to change my fate by joining a startup!
Startups and small businesses often lack resources, right? Including people, time, and the cost of using such services.
Although resources were limited, Kiyoung wanted to do his work effectively. From then on, he started learning and applying to his organization any tools that could help with productivity, such as Notion, Slack, and Monday.com. I started working with spreadsheets instead of Excel, and it turned out to be much more accurate and faster than I expected. We started seeing results that saved time and increased productivity.
So, I created this course to organize and convey the essential functions and steps during the process. 😊
Easier and more convenient than Excel Google Spreadsheets! 📃
Those who are already proficient in Excel can work more efficiently, effectively, and save time by using Google Spreadsheets. (I've personally experienced this!)
Have you ever experienced this?
When you need to aggregate data by department...
One person organizes the forms and sends the files to each department via email, messenger, etc.
Enter data according to the form for each department,
The person in charge then receives the file filled with data for each department.
The person in charge merges these multiple files with different names into one and then sends them separately.
🚫 There is no way to know how many file versions will be created during this process. 🚫 There is also the issue of whether files exist on someone's hard drive or not. 🚫 In many cases, version control is not possible later. This is what we can call inefficiency in work .
Instead of Excel in this case What if we use a spreadsheet?
Create a form
Just pass a single line of URL containing the form.
You can work on different departments simultaneously.
✅ No need to compile separately, ✅ No need to save it under a different name, ✅ No need to send it to anyone via email or messenger Work speed increases and accuracy improves, transforming the organization into one that excels at its work .
