Everything About Writing Documents That Work!

Document Structuring for High Performers: Learn and Apply Immediately

👩🏻‍💼 Communicating through the most important documents at work!
We'll share the essential survival skills for office workers that no one has ever properly taught you, drawing from the hard-earned experience of a 15-year strategic planner.

Getting approval in one go
How to create proposals, reports, presentations, and emails
If you're curious about how to make them, please listen to my story :)

Have you ever encountered this kind of situation while working?

  • A: Mr./Ms. OO, please prepare a report on our team's sales trends by tomorrow. 🤦🏻‍♀️
  • B: Mr./Ms. OO, we need a promotion for the new product that just came out, so please prepare a promotion proposal. 🤦🏻‍♂️
  • C: Mr./Ms. OO, I need a 1-page report on the B event that was held from July 2nd to 10th 🤷🏻‍♀️
  • D: OO, we've scheduled a meeting with the development team and design team about the B project the day after tomorrow. Please organize the necessary materials. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I wish the OO in that post wasn't me
but ominous premonitions always come true with uncanny accuracy.

All work life is

  • Messenger
  • Project Proposal
  • Report
  • Market research
  • Email
  • Collaboration Document
  • Even in the approval documents submitted to the accounting team

Communication in corporate life
starts with writing and ends with writing.

What if I break away from the company and become the CEO myself?

Congratulations. Hell's gate has opened.

  • Government-Supported Business Plan
  • Business Partnership Email
  • Various Sales Proposals
  • Investment IR materials and other documents are waiting.

So what would it be like to become a freelancer?

Working with multiple people actually increases the need for precise communication through documents and writing.

Ultimately, document writing skills are essential.
Just by handling documents well
most communication problems are resolved.(Conversely, there are many cases where conflicts arise due to poor documentation and communication skills.)

But! The places where you make money are quite cold.
Companies don't teach you how to communicate well through writing and speaking.

If you can't properly persuade with documents

  • Not being recognized at work or
  • Unable to do important things or
  • There are really many cases of working overtime unnecessarily.

When you're given a mission to write a document,
what do you do first?

PPT templates, 👨🏻‍💻
report formats, 👨🏻‍💻
proposal templates👨🏻‍💻
Aren't you looking for these?

Again, you buy and hoard books like "The Art of Writing OO," "How to Write OOO," or "The Rules of OOO," but
just getting templates or buying books doesn't make you a good writer.

What could be the reason for this?
When you receive a mission, you don't have a clear understanding of what purpose it should serve and how it should be structured
before you begin.

When traveling an unfamiliar route, having navigation helps you reach your destination quickly,
and similarly, when you receive a mission, you just need to structure it and write it out.

However, for office workers who struggle with this structuring
and are working overtime again today, I want to share essential survival skills
document structuring methods!

So far, you've been trying to improve your document and report, proposal writing skills by
purchasing lectures and books, but your document skills haven't improved,
making it difficult for office workers and freelancers - please pay attention.

  • Document Structuring Practice Problem Solutions

1. The Beginning and End of Working Life

Conversely, you can gauge the work level of an organization and its staff through their documents.
Since all work is organized through documents and work is done through documents, documentation and document writing are extremely important,
and office workers who excel at this can gain recognition for their abilities and achieve results.

2. What exactly is structuring?

So what are the conditions that a document should meet, in other words, what makes a good document,
and how should we go about creating such a good document?

Looking at them in order, I've created a checklist that organizes what documents businesses define according to the document's purpose, how each document should be structured, and the conditions for those requirements,

Through this checklist, you can verify whether the created document is properly written,
and check if there are any areas that need further improvement.

3. Let's structure a complete proposal/report

You need to ask and answer questions about Why-so and So-What while logically building claim-reason-evidence,
and if it's a proposal, it should include what to do, why to do it, what the expected effects are, and who/what/by when it should be done.

A report should organize the progress of work that has been done, but it should also include what will be done and how it will be done going forward.

Now, let's explore specific techniques that help with document structuring.

4. How to write documents that get approved in one go

I can provide you with a few guidelines.
Try displaying the nature of the document at the end of the title.

OOO Proposal, OOO Report - when you see this, you can tell what they're trying to do.
It's good to keep it short and concise, within 20 characters.
You can express it by dividing it into a main topic and subtitle.

And using contrasts and comparisons to create relative expressions
can also help increase engagement.
Work always demands better performance and doing better than others.

5. Visualization - Persuading Effectively with Data and Graphs

The visualization process is as follows.
Data comparison can be broadly categorized into 5 categories.

First, if you want to show proportions, a pie chart is appropriate.
Most chart formats that can be used to express contrast, distribution, composition, and relationships are organized within this framework.
You just need to consider a few things: how many variables there are, whether there's a time flow, and a few other factors....(omitted)

6. Useful Document Writing Tips You Should Know

Documents are the means to properly convey what we want to communicate.
The secret to why some people create tacky slides while others create sophisticated ones, even with the same content.

That's because it depends on
how you combine various elements such as layout composition, colors, emphasis, and fonts.

Easy for anyone to read, making people think "this person works well," we'll share the hidden tips for writing great documents right here.

Don't just look for templates right away.

Once you organize it, you'll be able to work much more efficiently and with higher quality when creating documents in the future 🙂

Essential survival skills for office workers! Document structuring and visualization
Testimonial reviews from people who took the class

Companies aren't schools. They just give you work.
That's why document structuring and visualization
are lifelong skills for anyone who works.

💁🏻💁🏻‍♂️ Do you happen to have these kinds of difficulties??

  • Every time I receive a document creation task, getting started feels overwhelming.
  • It seems like document creation is taking too much time.
  • You receive rough missions from your boss without specific detailed instructions, like 'Please prepare a proposal related to XX' or 'Please report on XX sales.'
  • It's difficult to receive detailed guidance on creating internal documents such as reports, proposals, and planning documents.
  • You feel like there's nothing particularly wrong with what you're doing, but you receive feedback asking "So what?"
  • I really put a lot of effort into creating it, but it seems like everyone didn't read the document content and keeps asking questions without knowing what's in the document.

🙆🏻🙆🏻‍♂️ Do you want to become like this?

  • I want to prepare basic edges that can be utilized even when projects change or document recipients differ.
  • I'm managing to create documents somehow, but I want to make them cleaner and more sophisticated.
  • I want to know what methods and considerations other people go through to create documents.

💯 There's no division between people who must learn planning and those who don't need to. If you want to succeed in your work, you absolutely must learn planning and how to effectively communicate that planning.

🕵🏻‍♀️🕵🏻 Who should take this?

  • Office workers who want to do document work well but don't know how
  • A new employee who still doesn't have a grasp of what documents are
  • A working professional with less than 5 years of experience who doesn't know where to start or how to structure documents whenever they're asked to write one
  • Working professionals with less than 7 years of experience who have difficulty structuring logic

🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♂️ Why should you learn at GroSchool?

Since planning practical-oriented lectures from 2016, I've realized that lectures that simply lay out theory are no longer very helpful.

You can learn theory through books, YouTube, lectures from other companies, or even through practical articles by professionals on Facebook or Brunch.

So then, actually doing it - practicing the actual theory in the field and reducing the trial and error you'll experience in advance through coaching from practitioners who have already gone through that process, saving you time - that's what we believe GroSchool can do. For all of you who have little time but much to accomplish, we curate and deliver only the best lectures recognized by practitioners.

👩🏻‍💻👨🏻‍💻 Let me tell you about the course structure.

  • Practice developing a perspective on viewing documents by examining document examples from various fields that have been processed and created by the instructor.
  • Trial and error in creating planning documents/reports/proposals will be reduced.
  • With minimal skills, you can create visually appealing documents.

Class Flow

  • Document structure & flow that brings your message to life
We'll teach you composition techniques that make it easy for people to understand and keep your intended message clear, no matter how many pages you have.
  • Tips for Clean Documents
You'll learn techniques for presenting messages cleanly without design sense or design elements.
  • Absorption that reads like speech
Documents that flow like conversation are good documents. And they're easy to handle too. I'll show you how to make text-heavy documents as absorbable as spoken words.

Course Content

  • Things to consider for establishing the framework before starting a document
  • How to plan document content yourself and determine its components
  • How to Structure Documents for Easy Reading
  • How to create clean documents even without design sense
  • How to Capture the Essence in a Single Report

Document writing, the most basic skill for office workers - how are you doing it?
We'll teach you the essentials packed tightly into 2 hours and 48 minutes.

This is a lecture that I want to watch over and over again. As I listened to the lecture, I learned that it started from the concept of how to write a document, and how it can be applied to other types of reporting materials. It's a shame that I can only take it for 6 more months. I think I'll watch it over and over again until I get used to it. Thank you.
