Data types and operations in the R language
◾ Instructor - Professor Park Seong-ho (Information Technology Center, Pusan National University)
- Non-major students in the R language learn how to use computer programs by creating programs to solve problems related to their major.
- Understand big data and artificial intelligence through programming.
The upcoming era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution demands the ability to turn one's thoughts into software through programming.
However, students who are not majoring in computer science are avoiding learning programming due to a vague fear that writing computer programs is difficult.
In this course, students majoring in humanities, social sciences, and economics will develop their computer program utilization skills by using the R language, which allows for easy and convenient data processing, to create and solve problems related to their major fields.
It also helps you develop your creativity by actually producing and using your own ideas.
In particular, by experiencing big data and artificial intelligence, the core keywords of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, through programs, we cultivate the ability to adapt to a changing era.
This course does not provide separate textbooks or source code. (You can take the course without the textbook.)
