I completed the entire course from Docker to AWS, GitHub Actions, and Nginx, and even took all the necessary sections because the teaching quality is exceptional. Above all, I'm extremely satisfied with the flow that follows the Pareto principle - starting with the most commonly used technologies in practice, allowing you to work hands-on with the technology first, and then diving deeper into specific areas as needed. The repetitive practice through various examples including not only Spring Boot but also Nest.js, Next.js, and more makes it even more memorable. I plan to continue with Redis, Kubernetes, intermediate AWS, and Kafka in sequence.

I finally understand... I listened to this without even knowing what nginx was, and it was so, so, so, so helpful. You're a really good teacher and explain the core concepts so well. The class materials are also so well organized, and most of all, you explain things so easily. I didn't know any Linux syntax at all, but while listening to this, asking GPT, and searching blogs, I feel like I'm starting to understand Linux a bit too 😊😊😊😊 You're the best! I'm off to pay for Docker.

If you can't answer the question "Why should I use Ngnix?" within 3 seconds, I recommend that you watch this lecture without hesitation. The instructor explained the reasons and key points of why to use Ngnix quickly and briefly, so it stuck in my head. Thank you for the great lecture!

What you will gain after the course

  • Basic Concepts of Nginx

  • Nginx Installation and Execution

  • How to Debug Nginx Errors

  • Deploying a Website Using Nginx

  • Deploying multiple websites with different domains on one server

  • Backend Server Deployment Using Reverse Proxy

  • Using Nginx as a Load Balancer

🤬 Why is Nginx so difficult to study on your own?!

I started development as a non-major and worked as CTO at various companies, and now I'm working as an educator. My name is Park Jae-sung. I also started development as a non-major and had a time when I was studying Nginx.

However, when I actually tried to learn Nginx, it was difficult to find courses structured in a way that would allow me to learn easily and quickly and apply it in real-world situations. As a result, I had a hard time relying only on blog posts when I first started learning. Even the official documentation was complex and difficult, making it not easy to learn.

So I created this course to teach you the basic syntax used in Nginx and how to use commonly used features. I won't just teach you how to use Nginx, but will help you develop the ability to apply Nginx in various situations. By learning this way, you'll be able to apply it on your own after completing the course, and only when you can apply it yourself will you be able to adapt Nginx to fit your projects.

The goal I'm pursuing with this course is that after completing it, you—not me—will be able to effectively use Nginx in real-world situations. If after finishing this course you don't understand what it's about, don't know how to use it in practice, and nothing sticks in your mind, then I believe it's a poorly made course. If you've clearly learned something, you should be able to apply it immediately in real-world situations.

I hope that through this course, you won't just become someone who only knows the theory of Nginx inside and out, but rather a developer who can actually utilize Nginx in personal projects or real-world work. See you in the course.

✨ 4 Points I Focused on While Creating This Course

Once you've learned the concepts, we need to actually experience applying Nginx using those concepts. That's why I structured the course so you can directly experience the most commonly used Nginx cases in real-world work.

I've carefully selected only the core Nginx concepts frequently used in the field to teach you. Knowing just a few commonly used concepts is enough to learn and use Nginx. I won't teach you unnecessary concepts. By learning this way, you can learn really quickly and apply it immediately in real-world situations.

I thought a course would be flawed if you couldn't apply it in real situations even after completing it. I tried to structure it as a practical course that can be immediately applied to real work, rather than an academic approach that deeply studies theory.

I won't just explain theory, but I'll show you step by step how to directly set up and utilize Nginx with examples. By showing you this process, you can easily learn what steps to take to set up and utilize Nginx in real-world situations.

👍 This course is perfect for:

Those who are having difficulty learning Nginx
by watching YouTube or reading blogs

Those who come from a non-technical background
and are slower to understand
difficult concepts and terminology

Those who want to directly
implement and utilize
Nginx in their work

🙊 What will you gain after completing this course?

You will be able to learn the basic concepts of Nginx. In addition, you will learn how to utilize Nginx in practice.

🚨 Make sure to check who is providing the education!

If you meet the wrong doctor, you could die from not being able to cure your illness at that moment. However, death ends with that moment of suffering. But if you meet the wrong teacher and receive the wrong education, you will suffer throughout your entire life.

Due to poor education, you may end up at an unwanted company, receive a smaller salary than expected, and suffer for the rest of your life as a result. Not only that, but the poor education you received gets passed down to your children as well.

I believe that education can truly change a person's life in a positive way, but on the other hand, it can also completely ruin a person's life. That's how much I think education carries a heavy responsibility.

Therefore, please check who is providing the education, what kind of person they are, what path they have walked, and make a careful judgment.

👋 Hello!
I'm finally introducing myself ( ⸝⸝•ᴗ•⸝⸝ )੭⁾⁾

Hello!

I started studying development as a non-major. Before I knew it, I've become a 6-year developer! Recently, I worked as a developer while serving as CTO at 2 companies. Whenever I had time, I've been doing coding lectures, company development consulting, and presentations.

The number of students I've taught has now surpassed 24,000 (as of July 2025)! Every time I teach my students, I feel the same way—I can't forget the sense of fulfillment from education, so I plan to continue teaching consistently on Inflearn.
(* Among students, successful admissions to Kakao Pay, Yanolja, and Woowa Brothers)

Just as I received a lot of help when I was going through difficult and challenging times, I wanted to become someone who could help many others. And I felt most proud and happy when the value I created through development had a positive impact on other people.

For these reasons, I hope that by sharing and giving what I've worked hard to achieve, those people can live a slightly better life.

Thank you!

I don't usually leave 5-star reviews, but I was able to learn NGINX very enjoyably in a short amount of time, so I'm giving 5 stars without hesitation. As expected, JSCDOE is someone you can trust and listen to. The only downside is that he's so handsome that it's hard to concentrate sometimes.
