I'm leaving with some good insights.

What you will gain after the course

  • How to measure how much traffic a specific service can handle

  • System design and scaling methods for increasing traffic

  • How to improve performance based on load test results

  • Methods for handling large-scale traffic

  • Load testing methods

🤬 Screw this, I can't do this anymore!

My name is Jaeseong Park, and I started my career as a developer from a non-CS background, served as a CTO at several companies, and am currently working as an educator. I also had a time when I struggled to gain experience in handling large-scale traffic as a non-CS major.

I wanted to gain experience in handling large-scale traffic, but I felt lost on how to actually experience it. This was because there are only a few companies that generate large-scale traffic, and even if you manage to join a large company, in most cases, you aren't given the opportunity to experience large-scale traffic firsthand.

Then, how on earth can one gain experience in handling high-volume traffic?

By utilizing load testing, you can indirectly experience large-scale traffic even without joining a company that handles it. By experiencing high-volume traffic, you will be able to practice how to respond, how to design systems, and how to enhance services.

I created this course with the hope that anyone can gain 'experience in handling large-scale traffic.' Through this course, I hope you will become a developer capable of handling large-scale traffic on your own.

✨ 4 Key Points I focused on while creating this course

This is not just a lecture on how to use load testing tools. I will guide you step-by-step through the "thought process" used in actual field work, such as how to interpret load test results and how to improve the performance of the entire system.

I have structured this course so that even non-majors can easily gain experience in handling large-scale traffic. After taking this course, you will be able to measure how much traffic your service can withstand and determine how to approach performance improvement.

I believed that if you couldn't apply what you learned in practice even after finishing the course, it would be a failure. I tried to structure it as a practical course that can be applied immediately to real-world tasks, rather than an academic approach that only focuses deeply on theory.

I will show you step-by-step how to conduct load testing using real-world examples. By demonstrating this process, you will also be able to learn how to design systems capable of handling large-scale traffic.

👍 This course is perfect for people like this!

Those who are having difficulty gaining experience in handling large-scale traffic
by watching YouTube or blogs

Those who are from a non-CS background and
are slow to understand difficult
concepts and terminology

Those who want to improve performance through load testing
in a real-world environment

🙊 What will you achieve after completing this course?

You will be able to experience large-scale traffic. Furthermore, you will learn how to improve system performance to withstand large-scale traffic based on load testing.

Note

The class proceeds on the premise that you already have a basic knowledge of AWS. Therefore, I recommend taking this course after studying basic AWS. If you encounter any parts you don't understand while studying, please ask questions immediately using the Q&A board or the 1:1 open chat room😊

🚨 Be sure to check what kind of person the educator is!

If you meet the wrong doctor, you may face death because you cannot cure your illness at that moment. However, death ends with the pain of that instant. But if you meet the wrong teacher and receive the wrong education, you will suffer throughout your entire life.

Due to poor education, you may end up at a company you don't want, receive a lower salary than expected, and suffer for the rest of your life as a result. Not only that, but the poor education you received can even be passed down to your children.

I believe that education can truly change a person's life for the better, but on the other hand, it can also completely ruin a person's life. That is why I believe education carries such a heavy responsibility.

Therefore, please check who the educator is, what kind of person they are, and what path they have taken, and make a careful judgment.

👋 Hello!
I'm finally introducing myself ( ⸝⸝•ᴗ•⸝⸝ )੭⁾⁾

Hello!

I started studying development as a non-major. Somehow, I've already become a developer in my 6th year! Recently, I served as CTO at two companies while working as a developer. Whenever I had spare time, I've been doing coding lectures, corporate development consulting, and speaking engagements.

The number of students I've taught has already surpassed 24,000 (as of July '25)! As I feel every time I teach my students, I can't forget the sense of fulfillment that comes from education, so I plan to continue providing courses on Inflearn.
(* Produced successful applicants for Kakao Pay, Yanolja, and Woowa Bros among students)

Just as I received a lot of help when I was going through difficult and challenging times, I wanted to become someone who could also help many others. I felt the most proud and happy when the value I created through development had a positive impact on other people.

For these reasons, I hope that by giving and sharing what I have worked hard to achieve, those people can live a slightly better life.

Thank you!
