Hello, this is Shared IT.
SharedIT is a community for corporate IT professionals, operating to provide information on the various hardware and solutions used in corporate IT rooms. However, because most of the members are professionals with up to 10 years of experience in corporate IT, the level of questions and answers tends to be rather high-level, making it difficult for beginners to ask questions.
Even though I'm a site administrator, I felt like my lack of knowledge made it difficult for me to provide accurate information. I also felt I needed to learn more. That's why I started this SharedITCLASS.
There are several essential skills required to work in a corporate IT team. Fundamentally, knowledge of infrastructure is essential. Since there was no place to provide a clear and comprehensive overview of this infrastructure knowledge, I created this course.
Even those who know nothing about IT can learn this course step by step from the beginning to grasp the concepts of the Internet we are familiar with, and build a foundation for understanding the various hardware and software used in computer rooms by corporate IT teams and their roles.
This course consists of 10 lectures.
- Lecture 1: What on earth is the Web?
- Lecture 2: Web Applications and Servers
- Lecture 3: Server Hardware and Software
- Lecture 4: A Complete Guide to Network Terminology
- Lecture 5: Network Hardware and Solutions
- Lesson 6: Storage and Backup
- Lecture 7: Databases and Solutions
- Quarterfinals: Security
- Lecture 9: Virtualization
- Lesson 10: Cloud
Notice to all students taking the free course.
This course covers ten topics, but it was produced in 2019 and doesn't cover much content on each topic. The lecture quality isn't great either. The music is too loud, and my voice is too soft to hear... There are also many areas left unexplored. Therefore, the remaining areas are covered in the paid course, "Essential Knowledge for Becoming a Long-Running Super Developer: A Complete Guide to IT Infrastructure Fundamentals."
- Essential knowledge to become a long-running super developer: a comprehensive guide to IT infrastructure fundamentals.
The paid lectures above aren't taught solely by me; they're designed for students who aren't IT majors. This makes them easier to understand. While some topics overlap with the free lectures, they offer a more in-depth introduction to topics not covered in the free lectures.
Anyway, I hope the free SharedITCLASS lectures will be of some help to those just starting out in corporate IT teams or those preparing for a job as an IT administrator. If you feel the content is lacking after taking the free lectures, you can take the paid lectures linked above to fully grasp the fundamentals of IT infrastructure. :)
Well, see you again in the paid lecture!
