📘 No need to purchase separately, start right away in Teams!

Gone are the days of creating shift schedules on-site, adjusting constantly changing schedules, and manually checking each employee's request. Now is the era where anyone can use digital-based smart scheduling tools, an era of focusing on improving operational quality rather than spending managers' time and energy on repetitive tasks.

Shifts is not just a tool for creating work schedules.
It's a field-centered operations platform that manages your team's shifts transparently in one place, shares changes in real-time, and enables employees to check and request their shifts via mobile. Now, our role is evolving from 'people who manage schedules' to operators who design and coordinate operations.

This course is a practical training program designed to help you, as an operator, use Shifts to increase your team's efficiency, create error-free schedules,
and systematize complex operations much more simply
. It's structured so you can directly practice and understand Shifts' core features, including schedule creation, shift swap requests, leave approval, and mobile-based field management.

Shifts is no longer optional, but has become an essential basic tool for organizations that want to systematize their frontline workforce operations. Through this course, you can learn all about Shifts' key features and how to use them, real-world cases that can be immediately applied in the field, and tips to fundamentally improve your organization's shift work operations.

Reduce the time spent managing work schedules and make team operations more efficient and convenient!

Here's what you'll learn 📌

1⃣ Overview — Understanding the concept and operational value of Shifts

Shifts is a frontline operations platform within Microsoft Teams that integrates the entire process of creating, distributing, and managing shift schedules into one unified system. Beyond being just a tool for creating work schedules, it is designed to share changes in real-time and enable team members to instantly check and respond via mobile, significantly improving operational efficiency. This section explains why Shifts is necessary, how it differs from traditional Excel and messenger-based approaches, and which organizations and roles benefit most from it, all through the context of real-world cases. In particular, you'll understand the post-implementation benefits as key metrics, such as reduced errors, faster communication, and optimized workforce allocation. Through this, you'll clearly grasp the reasons and necessity for the role transformation from 'schedule manager' to 'operations designer'.

Check work schedules and request and approve time off—all in one place within Teams!

2⃣ Configuration — Settings and environment preparation for stable deployment

To operate Shifts smoothly, foundational configurations such as licenses, permissions, data storage location,
team/group structure must be solid. In this section, we first organize the elements that determine the basic inertia of schedules, such as time zone, week start settings, copy options, tags, and display types. We then cover how to design options directly connected to operational policies—such as time-off request reasons, remaining leave management, unassigned shifts, and allowing shift swaps/offers—according to organizational regulations. Additionally, we guide you to prevent commonly encountered issues in practice, such as group name/configuration best practices and handling tag auto-generation failures, so you can systematically decide "What default values and policies should we adopt based on our organization's standards for stable operation?"

3⃣ Usage — Practical Operations from Creation, Distribution, Requests to Troubleshooting

Through hands-on operation sections based on actual screens, you'll learn to create and edit work schedules using various methods including individual, copy, and import, and verify them. You'll experience the complete workflow of sharing schedules individually or by period, and when necessary, retrieving and modifying them. The course covers methods to reduce operational errors by strengthening your "viewing power" through day/week/month view switching, view menus and filters, and resolving schedule conflicts. Additionally, you'll streamline reporting and distribution tasks with exporting/checking columns and printing schedule reports, and enhance practical usability with
clock in/out on PC/mobile and notification settings. Finally, you'll practice the request-approval process for leave, shift changes, and shift proposals from both user and administrator perspectives, and conclude with a checklist for quickly resolving common issues such as access, permissions, and automatic logout.

Perfect and convenient on mobile too, OK!
