Full Course Introduction

"If you can read the numbers, you can see the company"

Accounting is not specialized knowledge that only accounting staff need to know.
CEOs, executives, and managers must be able to read what the company's numbers are saying.

Sales are increasing, so why is money tight?
Profits are being generated, so why is there no cash?
Is a company with a lot of debt necessarily a bad company?
Is increasing expenses to reduce taxes always a good choice?
Can we really trust all the numbers on the financial statements?

This course goes beyond simple accounting procedures or memorizing tax laws,

Accounting → Financial Statements → Business Analysis → Tax → Financial Strategy → Corporate Value

is a practical course where you learn the step-by-step flow of corporate numbers, connecting through to corporate value.

LEVEL 1. Introductory Course

"Learning the Language of Accounting"

The easiest start for those encountering accounting for the first time

When you first encounter accounting, you are immediately faced with unfamiliar terms such as debits and credits, assets and liabilities, and expenses and revenues.

However, the essence of accounting is not difficult.

“Recording all of a company's transactions in numbers and figuring out what happened within the company through those numbers.”

This is the starting point of accounting.

In the introductory section, you do not memorize accounting in a difficult way.
Through transactions that occur in actual companies, you will understand the structure of accounting and the principles by which financial statements are created.

What will you learn?

  • Why is accounting necessary?

  • What are assets, liabilities, and equity?

  • How are revenue, expenses, and profit connected?

  • Why do debits and credits exist?

  • How do transactions change financial statements?

  • What do the balance sheet and income statement show?

  • Why are cash and profit different?

  • Where should one start reading a company's numbers?

After completing the introductory course

Students will no longer look at financial statements and think,
“Accounting is too difficult.”

Instead,

“Why was this number created this way?”

starts asking questions like that.

In other words, this is the stage of acquiring the basic language to read accounting numbers.
