Build a solid foundation for those new to UI/UX or already working in the field, and develop the ability to research and find solutions independently.
Regardless of the field, design requires objective and logical explanations, supported by the appropriate knowledge (theory).
A specialized theory lecture to help you provide logical explanations for your designs!
Up until now, the information I gathered while self-studying UI/UX felt a bit disorganized, but this course has really helped me solidify the concepts! It truly feels like the definitive guide to UI/UX fundamentals. Even though I’ve been studying for a while, there was so much information I didn't know or was learning for the first time, which made it even more helpful. I finally feel like I’m studying UI/UX the right way, and I wish I had taken this course sooner... ;) Anyway, I think this is a must-take course for UI/UX beginners or anyone who needs to organize their conceptual knowledge. I plan on re-watching it several times to fully master the concepts as I continue my studies. Thank you for creating such a great course! :)

A highly recommended course if you want to grasp the basic concepts of UX/UI! I especially liked how the instructor explained in the latter half why UX/UI designers also need a basic understanding of development. In the real world, unless you're at a large company, you will definitely run into friction with developers and planners. Since the instructor clearly defines each role and explains the foundational knowledge needed for each other's work, this course is incredibly valuable—especially for complete beginners. I took this course because I felt I lacked UX-oriented thinking while working in the field, and it was so helpful!

I've been working as a UI/UX designer for over 4 years, and I've always struggled with lacking foundational knowledge. I'm halfway through the course now, and the incredibly thorough and detailed explanations are really helping me organize everything in my head!
I love how the instructor provides examples for potentially difficult parts and includes written explanations in the slides! Highly recommend!
What you will gain after the course
UI/UX Concepts and Understanding
Components and concepts needed when designing a UI
Research concepts for understanding and designing UX
The main topic of the lecture is! 📖
Mastering UIUX theory to explain design through 'logical language' rather than just 'intuition'
Key Course Keywords
-Core UI/UX concepts (UX/UI, resolution, units, etc.) -Design communication (Defining components and state values) -Understanding service/business structures (Business models, wireframes, etc.) -Design problem-solving process (Double Diamond) -Strengthening design logic (The language of persuasion)
Course Planning Background
While information is abundant on platforms like YouTube and blogs, precise concepts remain vague amidst the fragmented data. Many designers struggle to logically explain "why" they designed something a certain way, even if they are capable of creating the screens.
It was designed based on the judgment that a systematic curriculum is needed to reinterpret theory into the language of practitioners, allowing it to go beyond being a simple 'manual' and become a 'tool for persuasion' in the field.
Who should take this course!? 🔑
- Beginners and non-majors just starting their career as a UI/UX designer
- Junior designers who struggle to logically explain their design rationale in practice
- Experienced professionals who want to systematically reorganize design theory and fundamentals
- Those who feel stuck when communicating with planners and developers due to a lack of understanding of terminology or processes.
Our learning goals 📜
01. Logical Communication: You will be able to explain design results based on clear theoretical grounds rather than just intuition. 02. Understanding Practical Mechanisms: You will gain a complete understanding of the technical foundations of UI implementation, including resolution, units (px, dp, etc.), and system fonts. 03. Service Structure Design: You will be able to design beyond simple screen layouts, taking into account the service's business model, revenue structure, and user scenarios. 04. Standardized Communication: You will learn the definitions of over 60 components and status values to communicate effectively with developers and planners. 05. Internalizing Processes: By learning the 'Double Diamond' process through real-world cases, you will be able to systematically lead the process from problem discovery to solution.
Unique strengths of Udi's lectures ✨
01. Practical, Hands-on Reinterpretation: This is a 'field-oriented curriculum' researched and designed by an active professional, rather than being buried in theory. 02. Learning with a Connected Flow: Instead of fragmented knowledge, we have structured a 'step-by-step curriculum' that seamlessly connects everything from basic concepts to components and processes. 03. Intuitive Visual Materials: We have designed the course so that abstract concepts can be easily understood visually through real-world service examples and diagrammed charts. 04. Critical Thinking for Persuasion: It builds the 'thinking muscle' to answer the question "Why?", enhancing both design quality and persuasiveness at the same time.
