For those aspiring to be solo developers or preparing for employment who are learning Unity and game development, there are definitely challenges and difficulties you will encounter. Those difficulties are probably dealing with databases and servers.

For those who are doing solo development, since they are working alone, they naturally need to be able to handle both the client side and database side of the game simultaneously, and those creating portfolios for employment also need both client and database components to elevate the quality of their portfolios.

I aim to address that issue in this course. Particularly in game development, it's not easy to find learning materials or courses that handle Unity and databases simultaneously or combine them together. So in this course, I'll help you work with Unity and databases together, combining these two elements to create higher quality projects.


We develop using Google Firebase service, which allows easy use of DBMS/RDBMS.

Learn Unity by actually creating a project. Learn game logic and systems through a casual game where you avoid falling snow. You can develop a Unity client.

You can learn the concept of what a database is in a simple and easy way. Before connecting Unity with a database, you can learn the concepts and also learn about JSON format along with databases.

3⃣Unity and Firebase DB Connection

You can learn how to integrate Unity game projects with Firebase DB and study methods for uploading, loading, and updating data through communication between games and databases.

Firebase, a service provided by Google, is a service that allows you to borrow a database rather than having to implement a database directly among various backend services.

Solo developers, those looking to create portfolios, and those wanting to learn databases will find this the most suitable service. Therefore, by covering these areas through the course, you can learn through direct hands-on experience.

When studying game development, you usually need to learn Unity and backend technologies like databases separately. The materials are typically separate, and there are hardly any resources or videos that cover both topics in an integrated way.

However, these aspects can be challenging for those creating portfolios or studying as solo developers. Especially recently, portfolios and projects that include both in-game and backend components simultaneously are essential.

To address these shortcomings, I have prepared a course that covers both Unity and databases together. Of course, while this course covers basic elements of Unity and primarily focuses on databases, I have prepared it to provide maximum assistance so that you can learn the essential elements all at once by covering these two topics together.
