Breaking it down piece by piece really makes it easy to understand. The lectures are concept-focused, so there aren't many examples. But since the concepts are solidly built up, it becomes easier to work on projects independently. I'm really, really looking forward to the next Spring series and Java series! I keep knocking on the door, so please come out soon! 😊😊

As a junior developer, I found this to be a good lecture because it helped me clearly grasp the previously vague concepts of JPA and databases. I started today and have already completed 70% of it. The lecture time is concise, so it's not boring and good for reviewing.

At first, just the JPA terminology felt challenging, but after finishing the entire course, I feel like I've become quite comfortable with JPA!! It was especially great to be able to learn the operating principles of JPA step-by-step, starting from JDBC :) Part 3, Part 4, Part 5... Bonus episodes... When are they coming out...?? 😭😭
You can truly tear apart, chew on, and savor JPA to the fullest.
Even those who are new to JPA can study it easily and enjoyably.
Beyond Part 1 and Part 1.5, you can put a booster on your growth speed.
You can start by thinking about why we use a DB in the first place.
You can thoroughly digest and savor the essential terms for web developers one by one.
You won't just be taking away knowledge; you will also gain the ability to study on your own even after completing the course.
[The Next Door Developer Spring Boot Series Part 2: JPA Edition] has arrived before you could even get tired of waiting.
Don't know about Part 1 yet? Then go check out Part 1 first.
You can find Part 1 at the bottom of the page.
🔻Part 1 Introduction 🔻
You've made up your mind to become a great web backend developer, right?
You're here to build a foundation for a real, usable portfolio that will prove your value, aren't you?
If you've only been mindlessly typing along and following tutorials until now...
You mean this is how I was supposed to study Spring?
✅ Step-by-step from the basics for Spring beginners 📈
✅ Not just simple knowledge, but the learning method for studying Spring ✍🏻
This is a Web Development Spring Boot Introductory course that will help you develop an eye for Spring.
🙋🏻♂️ I really should have watched this first..
🙋🏻♀️ It's so great because you explain step-by-step in an easy-to-understand way why things were created and why we need to know them.
🙆🏻♂️ He explains Spring Boot concepts very clearly and easily. I highly recommend this to beginners.
🙋🏻 It's great to organize concepts that I used to take for granted after such a long time. I'm looking forward to the upcoming series.
🙍🏻♀️ I want to take the next lecture as soon as it's released!
🙆🏻 As a beginner in spring-boot, I think the content of this lecture is truly excellent.
So, I have prepared this.
So that by the end of this lecture, you'll be shouting, 'Ah, JPA is totally doable,'
I will be your voice!
I'm bringing the megaphone!
Check out this gift set packed with everything from DB to JPA and Entity (+ the necessity of DTO) right now.
✅ You will be able to build a foundation based on the overall backend roadmap, not just Spring Boot.
✅ Even if you are new to Spring, you will now be able to fully understand and create REST APIs.
✅ You will gain confidence now by acquiring the method of studying rather than just knowledge.
✅ You will naturally pick up the necessary Java concepts and establish a direction for your future studies.
✅ We are going to study Spring and Java together in a way that is easier and more fun than any other lecture.
✅ I intend to develop the curriculum for beginner to entry-level Java developers.
✅ Through this course, we will gain the Eye of Agamotto—no, the eye of a practitioner.

Those who have studied Spring but still find it magical (Wingardium Leviosa)

Those who have studied Java and web development only at a very superficial level

Those who want to program by understanding rather than memorizing
💡I especially recommend this to those who have only learned web development superficially.
If you plan to program by memorizing, please do not take this course.
✅ I want to study as easily and enjoyably as possible...
✅ I studied Spring, but... why does it feel like magic? (Wingardium Leviosa)
✅ I want to get a job (or change jobs) as a Java backend developer...
✅ I need a portfolio that I can actually use..
✅ I'm such a cool person.. It's time to take the next step and increase my market value..
✅ I will survive in this harsh world of programming
I am a professional instructor who thinks 24/7 about how you can study to get hired at your desired company and continue a great career as a developer. Please refer to the profile below for my teaching history🫶🏻
You will have the amazing experience of creating it together.
Of course, the materials in the video are provided as a PDF.
If you have studied basic Java, you are more than welcome.
Of course, it's okay even if you haven't done much. Let's do what's necessary for Spring together 😉
Who is this course right for?
Those who are eagerly waiting for the second episode of "The Developer Next Door" with bated breath.
Those who truly want to understand JPA and make it their own.
I've studied JPA, but I have no idea why people use it... It's like magic to some people.
Those who don't understand the reason behind each line of code because they just studied by blindly following along.
Those who are new to Spring (Boot) and JPA
Need to know before starting?
This is a lecture where the meaning is maximized if you listen to "The Developer Next Door" Part 1 and Part 1.5 first.
I recommend that you study the basic knowledge of databases before coming.

You explained it so easily that it helped me understand JPA .ᐟ Thank you.
Hello, Chodong! Thank you so much for taking the precious time to leave such a valuable review.🫶 I am so glad that my efforts to explain things simply helped you understand! hehe. I took another look at the feedback you've been leaving since Part 1, and I am even more grateful that you truly felt the short lecture times and the easy-to-understand explanations..🥹 It is truly an honor to accompany you on your development journey, knowing that my intention—to help you understand principles and think together despite the limitations of video lectures—was conveyed so well!! Since this reply is a bit late, I will be cheering for your summer with even more heart!! I hope you have a day that goes exactly as you wish..🍀💚

I've listened to all of parts 1, 1.5, and 2, and it's a very ambiguous lecture series. Ultimately, across parts 1 -> 1.5 -> 2, you only write a very, very simple piece of code called "Product" and a tiny amount of code in general, so it feels somewhat lacking... In part 2, you don't even start writing actual code until Chapter 6, and even then, it's only about one or two lines... I feel like I typed less than 100 characters by the time the chapter ended. When considering the total cost of purchasing parts 1 + 1.5 + 2, I wouldn't recommend it to those around me, but since it's not like the instructor is bad at teaching, it's a truly ambiguous lecture series.
Hello, Peploma! First of all, congratulations on completing the course and taking the precious time to finish it!! 🎉 As you well know, JPA is a technology where understanding the principles is especially crucial, so this course focused heavily on those fundamentals!! To maintain that focus, I aimed to minimize the amount of code as much as possible. Since JPA itself can be quite difficult, I wanted to lower the barrier to entry!! I wanted to offer encouragement that anyone can get started easily once they properly understand the principles~! haha I hoped this would be a course where we could think and share opinions together, and your feedback will be a huge help.. 🥹 Since my intention was to walk through everything step-by-step for beginners, those who don't find official documentation intimidating and are quick to grasp principles might have felt eager to dive into more coding! I will sincerely consider if there are areas where I can further develop the course!! Thanks to you, I think this will be a great help to those who are hesitant due to concerns about the difficulty level!! Thank you once again for leaving such valuable feedback, Peploma~! I hope everything you do and everything you wish for goes well in the second half of the year!! 🍀💚

Just peeked through the door and found Hani-nim who has solidified the concepts and has no technology to fear!! 🍀💚 Will you knock on my door again when I make the next series..? 🥹
