Public Data Analysis is a data-driven analytical methodology widely utilized in the fields of administration and policy. Public data analysis using R and Python enhances the efficiency of evidence-based policy formulation and enables empirical diagnosis of social problems and rational decision-making. Therefore, this course aims to cultivate an understanding of data analysis based on public data and the practical application skills necessary for solving administrative and policy problems.
Cultivate practical competencies to apply to actual administrative issues and policy formulation by exploring foundational knowledge in public administration and policy in an integrated manner with data analysis.
Through the integration of detailed analytical techniques such as statistical analysis, public data utilization, and text analysis, students develop the ability to proactively respond to changes in data-driven administrative environments and solve problems.
Based on the analytical thinking required in public institutions and administrative practice, develop the ability to derive realistic and creative policy alternatives and present them persuasively with data.
