This is a really great teaching skill. If you only teach C++ without any blueprints, you might get confused, but I think the way you explained it intuitively by searching for the necessary elements in blueprints and implementing them in C++ was good for communication.

I enjoyed listening. It was very helpful in adapting to Unreal.

What you will gain after the course

  • Unreal Engine 5

  • C++ content creation

Unreal C++ course faithful to the fundamentals

Unreal is more difficult and has less materials than Unity.
Many people feel a high wall when they first start.
Compared to Unity, which has a high degree of freedom, Unreal has already had its core content code structure organized.
Because we work within that framework.
When I read books or watch lectures, even simple things,
I've seen many cases where trying to make something on your own is really difficult and doesn't work.
When studying commercial engines, you should not focus on ' memorization' , but on ' understanding' .

This lecture is not about creating a fancy game.
Thinking about the various concerns I had while studying Unreal Engine
It is structured to be easy for beginners to get started and study Unreal C++.
By taking this course, you will naturally become familiar with the C++-based Unreal Engine.
You will gain the basics to be able to handle more difficult intermediate and higher level content.

Introduction

I started game development purely out of curiosity to study hacking...
but as time passed, I somehow became a game developer with 10 years of experience.
"When will I ever be able to make a game at this rate?"
Starting from basic grammar that makes you sigh,
to gradually building your own game world.
And the sense of pride when seeing many players connect to that world.
The more I study, the more I find it impossible to escape the charm of MMORPGs.
I hope you can feel the same inspiration that I felt.
