① "Real marketing begins when competitors appear."

"Once you gain attention, competitors will also take notice. The goal here is to create a long-term value creation pattern that keeps people coming back. Are you solving existing problems? Or are you attracting people who haven't yet appeared in the market? Conversion is just another option. It's much more efficient to convince someone who already knows about chocolate than to sell chocolate to someone who has never tried it before."


② "Where are you creating value?"

"Business creates value from three perspectives. First, value for myself, second, value for customers, third, value for the world. If any of these three is absent, it becomes unsustainable. Marketers are the people who design the balance of these values. What value are we moving around? Are we creating truly meaningful change, not just simple profit?"


③ "Who opens their wallet, and why?"

"Not all customers are our customers. People who open their wallets are those who 'recognize the problem' and are 'ready to solve it.' The most effective marketing is helping people who are already ready to move. We need to understand why they consider this problem important and what culture they share. The timing of opening wallets is connected to emotions, and marketers are people who read the flow of those emotions."

    Seth Godin lectures on Inflearn!!!! I think marketers absolutely must take this. When doing marketing,, we say we're troubleshooting, but we often end up planning, setting up, operating, and reviewing in the same old ways... just working habitually out of inertia.. Starting from defining my identity as a marketer, thinking about customer personas and pain points, and then how can we connect this with our product? And furthermore, how can we connect it with the business that the product belongs to? As I pondered these questions.. the results themselves became different from when I just looked at admin data and marketing metrics, and I'm amazed too!!!! I learned and felt so much while watching the lectures that I want to write about it as personal content... It's such a great lecture that I definitely want to record it and share it with people!!! When I listen to Seth Godin lectures on my way to work in the morning, that whole day goes well at work!! I guess it's because my mindset changes~!!

      Experience Review) Listening and organizing step by step seems to resolve the vague parts. It's also great that you provided the ability to organize lecture content with Notion! Sometimes when listening to other lectures, I feel the content is ambiguous and mediocre, but it's good that the reasons and evidence you explain are clear.
