This article explains how to set up a private local network using Pantheon, an Ethereum client implemented in Java, and Docker.
How to use Docker
Setting up Pantheon
Pantheon is an Ethereum client implemented in Java. It supports a variety of consensus methods, making it ideal for use not only on the existing Ethereum mainnet but also in enterprise blockchains, making it a versatile open-source project (Pantheon was renamed Hyperledger Besu in September 2019).
In this crash course, we'll walk through running Pantheon as a Docker container to create a "private" local Ethereum blockchain, along with installing a screen to monitor this blockchain (see ethstats.io ).
