What you will learn!

  • Able to handle data for analysis.

  • You can process machine learning data yourself.

  • I can do data tasks using Excel.

Data analysis + preprocessing!
Develop your data skills with Pandas.

Is this the course I need? 😮

Please read the sentences below and check them.

I want to prepare for a data career
If you were looking for a starting point

I know a little bit about SQL now, but if you want to strengthen your data capabilities in a more serious way,

Data analysis, which is being done a lot these days,
If you've heard of it but don't know what it is,

There is too much data to analyze with Excel alone.
If you were looking for another way

👉 If any of these apply to you, it's time to learn Pandas right now!

Now, why Pandas ? 🎓

Data capabilities are becoming increasingly important, and at the heart of this is data handling. Data handling refers to the ability to manipulate data as desired. Pandas, along with SQL, is arguably the most widely used data handling skill among current data professionals .

If you learn Pandas

From simple Excel and CSV data
You can freely handle the data within the DB.
IT service analysis, machine learning input data generation, etc.
It can be used in many ways.

This lecture is the third in a series of "Learn and Use Data" lectures. Whether you're a beginner with SQL or new to data handling, this Pandas lecture is ideal for you. Let's learn together!

This course is for anyone who has ever wondered what to do with data too large for Excel, or who knows some SQL but isn't familiar with Pandas.

When I first started studying and working in the data science field, I used SQL frequently. Thanks to this, I quickly became comfortable with SQL, but Pandas took a long time to become familiar with, and I had difficulty learning how to use it effectively. However, by applying SQL concepts to Pandas, I was able to gain a grasp of the somewhat awkward Pandas language .

This course incorporates the methods and know-how I've personally applied to my own projects, so you can easily learn Pandas from the basics . If you're interested in data science, data analysis, or engineering, data handling is one of the most important foundations. I hope you'll learn Pandas, the core of data handling, and strengthen your skills. 😊

After attending the lecture you will 🙌

After completing all the lectures, we have structured the curriculum so that you can perform data cleaning using Pandas .

The lecture is divided into 3 steps .

  1. 'Read', which is the overall content of reading data
  2. 'Join' to view split data together
  3. 'Mutation', which changes existing data

We first explain the concepts for each stage to help you grasp the overall picture, and then we create a curriculum that allows you to naturally follow the code along with actual live coding.

This course is different in these ways 📖

Ensuring continuity with familiar datasets

We'll continue to use datasets similar to those learned in previous SQL lectures (continuity guaranteed).

Easy explanation that anyone can understand

We explain unfamiliar technical terms as clearly as possible to help even non-specialists understand them without difficulty.

Based on official documentation, packed with key points

The concepts are core! Based on the official Pandas documentation and CheatSheet, this guide is reliable and contains only the essentials.

I thought about it in practice

It is focused on developing practical skills that will allow you to actually code.

Check out the Q&A 💬

Q. Do I need any prerequisite knowledge before taking the course?

This Pandas course assumes a basic understanding of Python syntax . A basic understanding of Python syntax is essential for following the course, so we recommend familiarizing yourself with Python before taking this course.

However, even if you've never used Python before, you can still follow along with the code presented in this course. Working with Pandas offers a different grammar than standard Python. We provide a free Python textbook called "Byte of Python" and sample lectures, so please refer to them before making your decision.

Q. Is this a course that non-majors can also take?

Anyone with Python knowledge and an interest in data analysis can enroll. Due to the online nature of the course, you may not have a proper place to ask questions if you encounter any difficulties. We encourage you to actively utilize the Inflearn [Community]. We'll provide assistance as quickly as possible.

Q. Can I take the course even if I don't know SQL?

This course is designed so that those who know SQL can take it while comparing the concepts of SQL with Pandas, but even those who don't know SQL can take it without any problems .
