• It does not cover the detailed syntax for every different type of database.

  • Unfortunately, it is difficult to say that this course can cover every single aspect of SQL syntax. This is because there are various types of databases, and the usage of functions and specific syntax details can vary between each one.

  • Furthermore, because details in the programming ecosystem are constantly changing with version updates, even developers in the field are always studying and verifying these changes while they work.

• I will teach you how to fish, rather than just giving you the fish.

  • However, the reason I say this course alone is sufficient is that I intend to teach you how to fish, rather than just giving you the fish.

  • As mentioned earlier, no developer in the field works while knowing or memorizing the syntax of every database. This is because the programming ecosystem is constantly changing.

  • The goal of this course is to help you solve the problems covered in the problem-solving class at least twice, so that when you encounter them again, you can write the queries yourself without looking at the answers.

  • In this course, we recommend repeating the problem sets at least twice, and we suggest proceeding by following the steps outlined below.

    • During the first round, if you cannot solve a problem after thinking about it for more than 30 minutes, we recommend watching the video.

    • For the second reading, we recommend selecting only the problems you couldn't solve on your own during the first reading and trying to solve them without spending more than an hour on each.

    • After that, for the second review, I recommend selecting only the problems you still couldn't solve and practicing them repeatedly until you can solve them without looking at the answer key.
