Case study for Lecture 5
Digital Marketing vs. Digital Marketing
Why has performance become more important in the digital marketing era?
Why did you choose to become a performance marketer?
Digital marketing has made the following possible:
1. Tracking
2. Measurement
3. Analysis/Interpretation
4. Prediction
Everything is quantified: before, during, and after advertising or marketing.
Are you currently doing 'digital' marketing or digital 'marketing'?
If you're still relying on intuition for marketing that hasn't been digitized, I recommend this course.
Search marketing is a useful form of pull marketing that exposes your business through keyword search advertising, search engine optimization (SEO), and blogging. By exposing your content beyond Facebook or Instagram ads, it provides additional opportunities for website visits, free of charge, beyond paid advertising.
Naver and Google remain the channels we need to focus on. With the advent of smartphones and the mobile era, the number of search channels has also expanded.
Consumers discover and discover products and services on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. And when they need to learn more, they search on Naver and Google. In this era, content featuring our products and services must rank high, regardless of the search term consumers use.
Even influencer marketers and marketers on Instagram and Facebook recognize the importance of Naver and Google and prepare accordingly. Given this, are you marketing on Naver and Google without a strategy for SEO, search ads, and blogs? You absolutely need to revisit your strategy.
Naver remains a viable channel. Much of Naver's search engine is based on search terms, including related search terms, autocomplete, and shopping searches. Therefore, determining which search terms to use to promote your products and services becomes a crucial strategy for marketers. This lecture will cover search marketing, search terms, SEO, and what to consider when using blogs.
It's rare to find a lecture that even demonstrates actual implementation cases. If you're curious about how search marketing is actually implemented, I highly recommend this course.
Search is used throughout the entire consumer journey, from information search to purchase, in the digital environment. In digital marketing, failing to implement SEO means giving up at least 50% of guaranteed sales.
If you feel like your sales aren't what you'd like or you want to spend your marketing dollars more efficiently, you need to check out your SEO.

I took the course thinking it would cover technical aspects of SEO, but it was actually a lecture on how to operate and what strategies to approach. As a developer, I was able to understand a little bit about marketing and became interested in it.
Thank you :) Tony, this lecture has been highly praised in the field, and I am so grateful that Tony recognized it. I think marketing is not just a skill, but an approach to the essence. :) Thank you.

The lecture content was not for beginners, and honestly, it was difficult to understand. I feel like I can't overcome the curse of knowledge by thinking, "Everyone knows this." Still, I feel like I learned a lot about blogs and SEO. However, I wish it was a little more informative. The conclusion is that you always have to be careful to completely filter out the dregs? But what's more regrettable is that the course period is one month, so if a similar course comes out again, I don't think I'll buy it. I wish there was no course period.
Hello Jeongin :) As you said, I think the course period is too short!!! Thank you for your feedback, and I will generously increase the course period to about 1 year!
