1. Introduction to the ‘Beginner’s Course in Reversing Analysis’
Reversing (reverse engineering analysis) is used in various areas of IT security, such as mock hacking and malware analysis. If you want to learn analysis techniques that you found difficult, starting with binary analysis based on Windows and Linux operating systems, I highly recommend it. This lecture is “Beginner’s Course in Reversing Analysis (Level 2).” It will proceed in a series from the basics to advanced.
- Level 1: Introduction to Reversing, Architecture, Assembly Language, Code Patterns, Reversing Tools (Shortcuts)
- Level 2: Binary Analysis by OS/Language
- Level 3: Various analysis techniques such as anti-reversing, obfuscation, and hooking [ Windows /Android ]
- Level 4: Automated analysis, cryptographic analysis, kernel analysis, etc.
2. Course Target
– Those who have chosen a career path such as mock hacking, vulnerability analysis, or malware analysis
– For those who want to learn the basics of reversing and now move on to Level 2
3. Requirements
– Installation of VirtualBox or VMWARE is required, and the method of configuring the environment required for the lecture is introduced.
– Practice files and practice answers required for the lecture are provided separately.
